We recommend you to rent a car. The apartment is 10 minutes by car from the sea with its many beautiful beaches.
It takes about 45 -55 minutes to walk through the picturesque gorge to Gialiskari beach or to Paleochora.
Paleochora is located on a narrow promontory stretching into the Libyan Sea and is the sunniest point of Crete and Greece.
The small alleys, the old town, the castle, the promenade and the beautiful cafes and restaurants with their rich gastronomic culture invite you to linger.
Visitors have the possibility to visit the pebble beach on the east side of the peninsula or the large fine sandy beach on the west side.
