Positive: Great location for exploring Füssen and the surrounding castles. Very clean and comfortable. Amazing views of mountains and castle.
Negative: No underground parking or EV chargers, even though this was mentioned in the description.

Positive: Beautiful view of the mountains and Neushwanstein castle. We were lucky to catch clear days on our stay to enjoy that view. The wrap around terrace was great. Bed is comfortable. It's a 12 minute walk to the edge of the old town and the bus stop, 15 minutes to the grocery store.
Negative: Staff was quite abrupt in their responses to our requests. We had difficulty opening the door the first time so we called them. They could not understand my question... slight language issue (there were 2 latches on the door and we didn't want to force it so were asking which one to use) but were told quite rudely that we had broken the door! and that someone would come round to open it as and when possible! (in the end we figured it out ...you have to twist beyond the resistance). We also had to ask for little but important things like dishwasher detergent and even garbage bags! We stayed for 4 nights but only 1 bag/detergent tablet was given, and we were told quite rudely that this is standard practice (not true ...our friends in another home stay rec'd everything). Weather became very cold while we were there (2 degrees) but extra blankets had to be specially requested and heating was only turned on on the last day after many requests .

Positive: Excellent, large and modern top floor apartment with superb views towards the famous castles outside Füssen, this was quiet, very well equipped with good quality furniture and kitchen items, and extremely comfortable. Elvis, our host, was particularly helpful, and we were able to use the basement washing facilities which was very useful in the middle of our trip. The whole apartment has a wrap-around terrace/balcony which is also very well kitted out with tables, chairs and loungers. Although situated in a peaceful residential area, the apartment is only a five minute walk from Füssen old town, and the bus stop for Neuschwanstein, etc is also very easily reached, although do check the timetable carefully first! Overall a great place to stay in this charming part of the world.
