5 Bedroom House in Anacortes

Stylish escape for friends and family get-togethers! This mid-century modern home is open, bright and inviting! Floor-to-ceiling views of the Guemes Channel on all three floors. Gorgeous! The open floor plan maximizes the light and the views!
On the main floor you'll find a beautiful kitchen with walnut butcher block countertops and a huge island with a quartzite countertop. Such a fabulous space in which to cook and entertain! New appliances and fully stocked! The dining table is expandable to 10'. Two living areas provide space to relax and chat. Through French doors, the deck offers separate lounge area and an eating area that can accommodate 8-10! No better way to spend a summer day and evening than watching the yachts and working ships ply the Strait! The main floor also has a large bedroom with attached bath, including a walk in shower.
The second floor Master suite includes a king bed, a luxurious day bed, walk in shower, double sink vanity, separate toilet room, and a soaking bath with views of the water. True luxury! Two other bedrooms on the second floor include one with a king bed, a shared bathroom with a walk in shower, and a third bedroom, with a queen bed, private deck and expansive views of the water. It also has a half bath to itself! Cozy up in the second floor reading nook with a good book.
The full light basement includes a bedroom with queen bed and an attached bathroom with walk in shower. You'll also find a 55" smart TV in the cozy entertainment room. This is where you'll also find an indoor ping pong table and a full laundry.
The French doors lead to a beautifully landscaped, fully fenced yard with an entry level deck with expansive views. Lawn games rule! We have a badminton net and an assortment of games!
While the house will accommodate 10 people, any number over 8 will incur an additional person charge of $50 per person per day.
We do accept a maximum of two dogs under 50lbs with a $100 cleaning fee. I’m afraid we cannot accept cats or other pets.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Comfortable bed in master bedroom, Every bedroom had nice pillows, blankets, and throws. Perfect house for a large group of people with all the amenities that would be desired. Fully stocked kitchen, washer dryer, activities for the kids, etc.The large bathtub was one of my favorite spots to enjoy. The location is great.

Summary: This house has a beautiful view of the water, islands, and mountains. It is very thoughtfully furnished and equipped for guests. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. The bathrooms are equipped like hotels. The house layout has a fun personality. The house is near a pretty oceanside footpath. It is a short drive to great restaurants. The owner has great communication. My senior citizen mom stayed in the main floor bedroom and had an easy time getting around. Our kids loved the basement and the many activities like ping pong, games, and playing in the backyard. The kitchen was very comfortable and equipped for meal prep. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend it.

Summary: Our family appreciated the 4 suites spread over 3 levels. We didn't need the 5th bedroom/hall 1/2 bath upstairs. The kitchen is nicely stocked with basics and the seating on the upper deck was perfect for all of us and a few visiting family members. The low-profile furniture in the living area was a bit challenging for a few of us - especially my parents in their 80's. The views are worth dealing with the ferry traffic. :) Megan was VERY helpful and accommodating. We liked this experience much better than rental companies that rent homes stripped to the bone.

Summary: We rented this lovely house for the week to celebrate our sister's 80th birthday. Had a wonderful week and enjoyed the amazing views and sunsets from the expansive main level great room. This is a convenient spot to the San Juan Islands ferry ( just 2 miles) to take in an opportunity to explore even more. There's plenty of space to spread out and the kitchen has basically everything you would need ( including a plentiful array of spices). We old seniors got a workout on the steps up and down, but we counted it as aerobics. :) The main floor bedroom and bath was a blessing for one of us who had a recent total knee replacement.All in all, it is a wonderful home with a fantastic hostess. Thanks so much, Megan!
