Summary: The place itself is not bad, the view is incredibly beautiful! Everything is very simple but it fits what we need it. It is a 2 storage house and the stairs to the second floor are a bit steep, so beware! Also, the only way in or out of the house is by boat! Take that into consideration, also you cannot explore the island, which was a bit sad, but I get it. the arrival was chill, but the house had no heat! it took them 1hour to get the gas working. the oven didnt work for the entire tripSince we arrived on the 31st the neighbours were getting ready to party, After we settled in, one of the owners came into the house to check if everything was fine but kept staying for a good 20 minutes, maybe it was the Vancouverite in me but I thought it was a little weird. Anyway, he said that if there was any noise coming up to let him know.As midnight turned, we all went outside to celebrate but since we were tired we came right back inside to go to bed. Well, the house next to us started singing in the Karaoke until 2AM and when we came to ask to keep it down they said" Honestly fu** you, sorry not sorry".Like, what????After that, the gas kept ending, and by the last day we couldnt take a shower before leaving the island. Just be careful, maybe during summer the experience can be better. A shout-out to the female owner, her daughter and the guy that came to fix the heat, they were awesome!

Summary: We booked two float homes and loved every minute. Pearl was easy to communicate with and quick to answer questions. This was a rustic relaxing vacation. The float homes didn’t rock as crazy as I would have liked because Strawberry Island is on the inlet side of the ocean but they certainly rocked gently here and there. Cooking and heat are via propane but the houses have electricity and city water which tasted divine right out of the tap! The properties are dog friendly but don’t stink at all. The linens were all clean and plentiful to keep everyone warm. Pearl is quick to pick you up from mainland Tofino and bring you back when you text. The yellow float home is a single room open concept style with two twin beds and a double bunk beds and the green float home was a two level 3 bedroom which offered plenty of peace and quiet. The adults took the yellow house and we gave the kids the green house and it was fun to be in our own spaces overnight but spends the days together. If you’re ready to slow down and enjoy the ocean, stay here.

Summary: This was by far one of my favourite rentals I have had the pleasure of staying in. Pearl was always available to help and very friendly and helpful in getting us situated. This is truly a perfect way to experience Tofino and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone visiting!

Summary: Great and very fun location right on the water. The house has an unbeatable view on the water (you're on it) and it's so peaceful to be floating on the water. Our guest was very friendly and the back and forth with the shore very easy to accommodate for us (and included in the rental if you're wondering). The house is functional and pleasant but don't expect luxury. Definitely a fun and enjoyable stay.

Summary: We were 4 old friends. Loved being on the water. Joel, Riley, Luke and Nicole were awesome hosts. Highly recommend a fishing trip with Joel and Luke. Strawberry Island Fishing Charters. The guys were great and we caught so much fish. And they were right there on the island!

Summary: HEAVEN. Truly is Paradise in a charming houseboat on a tiny island off Tofino. The hosts are absolutely outstanding and could not have done more to help. We absolutely loved every single second and stayed longer. I want to spend tbd rest of my life here if I could.

Summary: The host was very very nice and accommodating for our every need. Pearl went above and beyond to make our trip memorable - she was kind and funny. The property was cozy and beautiful with amazing views. Their dog Tuna was an additional bonus!!

Summary: Spent my birthday with a couple friends and really enjoyed everything about my stay. The hosts were extremely friendy and accomidating. A quick ride boat ride into town for anything you may need. Had the most amazing seafood dinner and was able to cook everything on site. Cant say enough good things! Ill be back again soon!

Summary: Beautiful property situated on the water. With a fall storm rolling through the float home was the perfect place to warm up in in-front of the fireplace after a day of surfing. The hosts were always available to ferry our group to shore and made us feel at home even sharing Tuna sashimi and karage with us that they had caught. If we had more time we would have definitely taken them up on their offer of a fishing/hot springs day charter on their boat.
