Positive: Owner is very accommodating and willing to help with anything you need. They live right next door but very quiet. Big enough for family of six. The kitchen is a plus, we could cook our own meals and there were coffees and teas. The bottle of wine was a great gesture, thank you! Play Station and my boys were able to use it. Property is away from town which we liked. There’s a pool but we didn’t end up using it. There’s also a spa which was really nice. There were plenty of shampoos, conditioners and soap. Bed linens and towels very clean. Bed mattresses were clean and comfortable. Iron board and iron provided.

Negative: The place was attached to the owner’s house and the connection door has the lock from the inside of the owner’s house which makes it uneasy and uncomfortable for us. The bed frames were not ensemble and not strong, every time we sit on it, felt like they were going to collapse which made sleeping not very comfortable because we worried that the bed would collapse.

Positive: The location was fabulous, the place afforded us absolute privacy, peace and quiet surrounded by bushland yet within easy driving distance from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Furniture and appliance were excellent, the kitchen was much larger than we thought, the living room was comfortable, as were the two bedrooms and bathroom, which makes this excellent value for money. The hosts were very friendly and attentive, even though we didn’t see each other much (only once, actually, when checking in) but we communicated well through messages on Booking.com. Linnen and laundry was clean. The swimming pool was a very welcome bonus. We think this place deserves the name Paradise. Highly recommended.

Positive: It was warm clean and enough space for our stay. The kitchen was very well stocked and all appliances were first class. Owners provided a lovely bottle of wine

Negative: I was under the impression it was the complete house and was disappointed that the entrance was through the garage. Also the two bedrooms using same ensuite with only access through the main bedroom was problematic. We were travelling with our elderly parents
