Positive: We were looking for a quiet place not too far from the sea to stay 2 nights for exploring Somerset’s treasures, so we booked Ann’s and Mark’s wonderful B&B months in advance. We were overwhelmed by the hospitality we were granted, by the cleanliness of the place, by the view from our window into the lovely garden, by the lovely decorations of our room including our bathroom. Surrounded by fields and meadows with birds singing all day long, and located near the Quantock Hills we did find a true little oasis of tranquility. Our very tasty breakfast was prepared to order, with nothing missing, and we had in a lovely breakfast room. Finishing the day with a glass of wine right by the fire was a true pleasure. Ann and Mark also gave us some really helpful hints how to best plan our days, what is truly worth seeing and what might not be, some helpful driving recommendations etc. Many thanks to you both to have made our stay such memorable, we greatly enjoyed our time with you and certainy regret to not have planned to stay for even longer to also do some nice hiking in the nearby Quantock Hills. We strongly recommend to anyone to stay a couple of days at Pardlestone Farm - B&B.
Negative: There is nothing that we could think of, that we did not enjoy 100%.

Positive: Pardlestone Farm is in such a peaceful setting in the Quantock Hills and within walking distance of Kilve beach with its little tea room. We stayed as B&B guests and the breakfast was wonderful. Mark lit the fire every morning before we came down and his attention to detail was wonderful. Fresh fruit salad, fresh local eggs, wonderful homemade jams, we could go on and on. The bed is super comfy too, I think it’s a Hypnos bead. Tea and coffee in our room and beautiful biscuits and Tunnocks wafers topped up each day. Just so kind and thoughtful. We drove in our Tesla electric car and found high speed Type 2 and CCS charging points in both Taunton and Bridgwater just off the M5 and around 30 mins from Pardleston Farm. So no problem travelling by EV. There are wonderful walks and local pubs for supper. Each evening again Mark would light the sitting room fire for us to relax and read or watch a little bit of TV. Home from home and such delightful hosts. Ann was around making sure we had everything we needed and she prepared the best porridge at breakfast time before our cooked breakfast. We had tea in the garden in the afternoon and after a four night stay felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated. If you want a peaceful relaxing setting with wonderful homemade jams and local produce then you couldn’t find anywhere better than Pardlestone Farm with Ann and Mark. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Positive: A couple of weeks ago we spent a delightful weekend at this exceptional and charming B&B at Pardlestone Farm in Somerset. Ann and Mark were wonderful hosts, giving us a warm welcome and serving us tea and homemade cake in the garden on arrival. Our room was beautiful and looked just like a photo from a magazine. It was clean and comfortable and every need was catered for. Ann was keen to advise us on suitable walks and provided us with maps and directions. On both nights we booked a table at The Hood Arms in the village and were not disappointed. The food was excellent and staff were friendly. It was a pleasant walk down the lane from the farm and on our return to the B&B we enjoyed relaxing by the fire in the comfortable and stylish sitting room. A delicious full English breakfast, plus fresh fruit salad, yogurt, compote and granola, toast and homemade preserves was professionally served to us by Mark in the elegant and cosy dining room while another fire burned in the log burner. We were sad to say goodbye but definitely look forward to returning for another stay.

Negative: Egress was difficult and resulted in a tyre puncture, no fault of Pardlestone Farm, just that the local Council closed the access road on the morning so had to take a rough unmade road for egress.
Summary: We would unhesitatingly recommend Pardlestone Farm for a short break.
