Positive: Perfect place to spend winter holidays with friends. At the beginng transfer to the ski arena seems to be a chalange, but owner is very helpful. Morning trips by Hagglund are something memorable, especially for kids. Morning coffee with amazing view and sunrise is really amazing!

Positive: the way up to the „boudy“ is worth it: - we were there with 9 people, but there is absolutely enough space for 15 people - during the day the location is great for short and long hikes - e.g. 30min drive to the neighboring town and from there to Sněžka / Schneekoppe - you can take a day trip to the source of the Elbe - or hike to the treetop path (Janské Lázně / Johannisbad) - in the evenings we always relaxed in the sauna and in the whirlpool - there are 3 bathrooms and additionally 2 individual toilets, so there is no problem at all as a large group - in the kitchen is everything, so you can cook on your own - the view right in front of the house is phenomenal (there are also tables and benches, you can have breakfast outside or smoke in the evening) - the contact with the landlord before and during the stay was very good (good restaurant recommendation „Restaurace Vavřinec“: thanks again, it was sooo delicious and a lot cheaper than we thought)

Positive: The accommodation was perfect, spacious and clean. The location is absolutely wonderfull, yet remote. You are absolutely completely alone and on yourself, pretty much on top of the mountain. We enjoyed ourselves a lot. Martin the housekeeper was a good help, and drove us to and from the upper station in the morning and evening, timings always on request. Dominic, the host is a nice guy, who helped us out getting all our gear up to the chalet, and did some extra shopping during the week. The chalet is completely surrounded and pretty much covered by snow during the winter. Its in the middle off the forest, but at the entrance it opens up and gives a wonderful view of the low lands when the weather is clear. An absolute fairytale. The kids absolutely loved it. Sledges were available at the chalet, and there's a little slope right opposite the house where we had quite some fun. We had a wonderful time.
Negative: We liked everything, but the following is important to consider. The accommodation is not accessible with normal transportation during the winter. For transportation we depended completely on the Haglund snowmobile driven by Martin. Its a good advice to bring shopping for a week, at least during wintertime. From the upper station its probably a good 400mtrs slightly uphill before the decent starts to the chalet. Its easy enough for the average adult, but we were with small kids, so for the return to the chalet we depended on the Haglund. We spend 650 euro extra on the Haglund. Its was defenitly worth it, yet we did not take this in account on forehand. The decent to the chalet is probably a good 800 metres, and is no problem for the moderate skilled skiers.

Positive: most beautiful house we ever rented for a skiing holiday; high quality finish, very spacious with all facilities. perfect personal service from Martin and Dominik.
Negative: the location is idyllic and remote, but this is also a challenge regarding transport and shopping. However with the support and service of Martin and Dominik this is absolutely solvable using the Hagglund and snowscooter (very exciting!)
