Positive: Extremely clean and well furnished. While the outside of the building is fairly standard and unremarkable, the inside is impeccable and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped - we cooked complex meals and baked cakes. WCs were spot clean, heaters worked well, and the rooms had beautifully peaceful views. Room decorations were very tasteful.
Negative: Room shades don’t block much light. That is typical in the northern countries, so it isn’t a complaint specific of this property, just a reminder to bring eye shades for those that need their rooms dark for a good night’s sleep.

Positive: We adored our stay and loved the area. We would have loved to have stayed for longer. Thank you!
Negative: We drove past the property four times looking for it and I feel that a clearer sign would be helpful. The for sale sign also didn't help for finding it.
Summary: We hope to be back! My daughter loved snuggling in the pink blanket and we all loved the peace.

Positive: Great location on the island, good for getting around. The house was stylish and very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and cosy log burner.
Negative: Parking off the road was on a slope but otherwise nothing to improve.

Positive: The cottage is beautifully decorated and to a high standard. It was extremely clean. It is very well thought out with everything you need available. The flowers on arrival were a nice touch. Contact with the owner was very pleasant.
Negative: Absolutely NOTHING to mention here, everything was perfect!

Positive: Very modern cottage. Warm welcome by the host with roses and some Uist gin. Lovely furnishings and furniture. Very comfortable despite the unseasonably strong winds a couple of days. Kitchen very modern and clean and had all the equipment needed. Very tranquil rural location - had the pleasure of seeing deer and short eared owls most days along with nesting lapwings, redshanks and oyster catchers. Loved the small landing upstairs on which we could set up our scope to watch the deer and the sheep - the nearest neighbours. Uist is beautiful - lovely coastline, beaches and flowers
