Positive: Location was good for what we wanted however you definitely need a car for this location. The gym and pool are wonderful and the restaurant and staff in the restaurant were excellent.
Negative: Accepting that there is a booking in guideline be prepared that there is no movement on this without a ln additional charge. Additional charges are all over towels for the gym, use of facilities outside of your time, checking in early even when rooms are available! Check in staff average at best and not helpful/understanding. Having travelled from Australia and knowing the room was ready we had to wait until the exact 3pm to check in even though arrived early morning due to the additional charges. Very poor and it’s the little things that matter on customer service. Lots of building and upgrade works happening around the place not made known on booking which should have offset the check in charges. Wayfinding around the complex especially with the work going on was shocking. Often finding ourselves in work areas where there was equipment or no lights or construction sites in the first day especially.

Positive: Clean, quiet location, excellent shower, very good restaurant though £4.80 for a small bottle of beer is too expensive!
Negative: They took £50 holding fee to cover the cost of any damages during the stay, which was returned once the stay was over, but they couldn’t provide any biscuits in the room, which shows a lack of consideration for its customers!

Positive: Updating/renovating the hotel to make it better. Food was amazing from the restaurant Lovely staff but doesn’t seem enough of them
Negative: Some areas in room which wasn’t clean. Bed uncomfy, old and dinted which made it look tatty. No spare pillows. Only 2 towels and 2 cups when we booked a family room for 3. Very hot rooms Spa isn’t worth it. Full and kids also which isn’t what you want in a spa. More just a plain pool so didn’t bother. Game x looks great for kids but not adults.
Summary: Overall not bad for price but wouldn’t stay again until it’s updated more and better organised. Lovely hard working staf

Positive: Good short distance from the M6 without feeling like you are staying on the motorway. The staff were very polite. Gym is huge and use is included in your stay.
Negative: Cleanliness was sub par. The window sill was filthy, had to have the window open as no Aircon. Cups provided needed a good wash before use. The breakfast was cheap ingredients and we went to the local supermarket for dinner as there were lots of issues with the restaurant.
