Positive: Had the evening meal which was delicious especially the monk fish best I’ve ever eaten. Breakfast was nice both mornings. The room was at the back of hotel very nice as we stayed there once before no stairs.

Negative: That we could have stayed longer 😄

Negative: Nothing really; the staff were okay, not over-friendly.

Positive: Friendly people. Loved meeting locals in the attached pub (it only opens on Saturday though). Simple and fresh breakfast. Had dinner once in the restaurant and enjoyed it. The simple view from the room was also a nice touch. The staff was very helpful and we partied with them in the pub on the night we arrived. Mr. Negi, Colin, the other bar keeper, the young girls, were all staff who we had a great time with in the pub. The locals: the lovely couple who gave us advice on local sight, Mr. Murray, they were all lovely people to meet and talk with. I wish they all were my neighbours. Mr. Negi also gifted us with a bottle of the local distillery Wolfburn's whisky on the day of our departure. We would always cherish these memories.

Negative: The room felt a bit small, though it was cozy. Overall there wasn't much to dislike. It is a simple motel like property after all.

Negative: Bathroom sink was clogged, soundproofing could be better. Breakfast buffet could be of higher quality and more varied with things such as home made pastries or natural skyr.
