Summary: Pool was cold. Sauna out of order. Booked for 4 people but only 3 towels in bathroom. Tv didn’t work. Open windows in upstairs hallway, smelled of marajuana

Summary: I recently stayed at Park Inn by Radisson in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada, and had a very bad experience. I booked under the Radisson name, expecting certain standards of quality and comfort, but unfortunately, the reality was far below expectations. The hotel was dirty and poorly maintained. The window in my room was broken. The TV and hair dryer did not work. The swimming pool was dirty and unusable. We were two families traveling together and had requested two adjoining rooms. The staff denied our request, claiming the adjoining rooms were occupied. However, it turned out that no one was staying in the room next to ours, which means we were misled. When we arrived at the property, we were shocked by its condition. Because of this experience, I have lost trust in booking Radisson hotels online without physically inspecting the property first. It’s very disappointing to see the Radisson brand associated with such low standards, possibly due to franchise operations not upholding the expected quality. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address these issues to prevent other guests from facing similar problems.

Summary: This wasn’t the name of the Hotel I book on line. It was Hearthstone so confusing to find. Never received information about name change or renovation happening. Put on 2nd floor with no elevator carrying luggage up and down. The pillow on the beds were small square cushions.

Summary: It was okay. The front staff were very friendly and helpful (provided additional kcups and cups). Customer Service A+. The overall condition of the hotel seemed to go downhill a bit since we last visited a few years back (it was under a different name then, Heartstone Inn) a few years ago. It was odd that there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom....noticed the veneer finish was bubbling in some places and pieces came off on the vanity, probably from moisture damage. Staff told my wife that the pool was closed and when my wife went into the weight room some of the equipment wasn't working. Other places in the same price range that provide similar offerings (open pool and/or exercise room) also provide complimentary breakfast. The restaurant in the hotel didn't look busy each time I walked by. The hotel didn't seem very busy when we were there (not many cars in the parking lot). When we went for a drive into town we noticed the other hotels close by were fairly busy, so we may check one of them out the next time we're in town.

Summary: The hotel is dated and not in great shape compared to other Radison properties I've stayed at. The paint was peeling in the bathroom as well as the living area, we had to remove the toilet tank lid so the toilet would flush properly as the mechanism inside was bent not allowing this to happen. For the money tendered one would expect a room with more than one light, clean and modern. Would not recommend this hotel to family or friends.

Summary: We traveled 2,000 km from Ontario. When we showed up they had no record of us needing 2 rooms. We had to have 1/2 our party go elsewhere to get a hotel room. They realized around 9pm that the mistake was theirs 4 hours later. The ceiling was flooding and falling. Not a good experience. Although the young woman at the front desh did all she could to accommodate us as best as she could. I believe her name was Jackie?
