Summary: We came from Kansas City to Burlington to visit my 98 year old grandma and see old friends. I had grow up here for 18 years but had not been back in a very long time. Right from the beginning Lori the owner called me personally. She made me feel excited to come. The overall stay was nice and homey. If we need anything Lori was available to bring anything.

Summary: This is the second time I've stayed with these owners and would happily stay again. Friendly, helpful, and accommodating. House is clean, has a few games to play in the house and a large park within walking distance.

Summary: Had to come into town last minute for a funeral. Host was very helpful and caring going above and beyond any rental we have ever experienced. older home but very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Smart tvs and newer appliances. During our stay a deer even walked into the yard. Neighbors where nice and friendly as well. We will definitely stay here again when in the area!! Thanks so much for letting us stay in your home and the kindness shown!

Summary: Stayed for Saturday’s bike race and some of the Memorial Day weekend events. Host was considerate, flexible, and immensely hospitable. Would highly recommend!

Summary: Parks Place was perfect for a quick overnight in Burlington! It was comfortable and had everything we needed. Lori was a wonderful host, going above and beyond with communication both before and during our stay. She is close by and was available for any needs that may have popped up. We only had one--my son forgot his wallet in the rental. Thankfully we hadn't left town yet, and she even offered to bring it up to us in town. Thank you, Lori, for all of your hospitality and kindness!

Summary: We enjoyed our time in Burlington and took full advantage of the location near the park and river. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of kitchen utensils to cook at home. The bird, squirrel, and rabbit watching was great as well. Thank you to Bill and Lori for their hospitality! We’ll be back!

Summary: We were happy with all our interactions and the timely responses from the property owners, Bill & Lori. We asked for more wash cloths and clothes hangers, they happily provided them. The home was as described and in a convenient location for getting to restaurants and entertainment! It’s between Crapo and Dankwart parks which we enjoyed plus the surrounding areas are nice & safe. We recommend staying at Parks Place VRBO! If we need to rent on future trips to Burlington our first choice will be Bill & Lori’s home!
