Clean, comfortable 1 bedroom garden level suite with private entrance, patio, and garden. Close to everything Vancouver has to offer - shopping, restaurants, recreation and the Canada Line subway to downtown and the airport all a short walk away.
Four bus lines run very close, taking you directly to Downtown, UBC, Stanley Park, Granville Island, etc. If you arrive by car, there is free parking just outside the door.
BC's major health centres, Vancouver General Hospital, BC Cancer Agency, and BC Children's Hospital are all within 15 minutes walking distance.
This is a great location for families, with a nice park across the street with playground, fitness center, running track, and splash pool in summer. Free family oriented concerts every Thursday evening in the summer! Hillcrest Olympic Rec Center is also close by, with a large pool (indoor and outdoor), skating rink, library, etc.
Local shopping and restaurants are only 500m away, in Cambie Village. Other shopping districts are also within just a few km: Main Street, South Granville, Granville Island, and the large Oakridge Mall.
When you are not out in the city, enjoy the peaceful private patio with a view of the park and mountains!
The apartment is very quiet and private, with a queen size bed in the bedroom and a sofa in the sitting room that converts to a second queen-sized bed. Summary: Jamie's lovely home is located in a cute neighborhood in South Cambie right on the South side of Douglas park. It was a great neighborhood for running and biking. There was ample public transit around as well as free street parking. It was a 15min walk to VGH and 10 min walk to BCCH so it's great for visiting medical professionals. The place was quiet and clean. Jamie was a communicative host. I would definitely stay again (:

Summary: My husband and I enjoyed our 5-week stay through August, and made great use of the very pleasant patio outside the front door. It faces a large park which is frequented by baseball and cricket players, kids' soccer camp, a playground, dog walkers and runners. Groceries are 3 blocks away, and it is a short walk to restaurants, shops, buses and the Canada line. The furniture and bed are comfortable, the TV, internet and appliances worked well. The owner is pleasant and responsive. All four of our thumbs are up!

Summary: We enjoyed all this suite had to offer. Across the street from the community club and lots of people jogging and walking. Less than 10min from Canada Line King Edward station , 3blks from King Edward Ave, Cambie st and Oak st. Hillcrest rec center 20min walk . A good suite for 2 people to stay at.

Summary: We loved living across the street from Douglas Park, where there is always lots of activity. The community center across the road has a nice little gym with affordable access. The neighborhood is centrally located - outside the city center but close by. The suite had everything we needed, including a comfortable fold-out bed. Great value for money.

Summary: Comfortable lodgings with lots of light. We enjoyed our 2 week stay here. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to sit out on our patio to enjoy the mountain view. We did enjoy the very comfortable bed and the great TV setup provided us with plenty of entertainment options for the rainy days. I enjoyed being able to walk to the skytrain station for a quick ride to downtown without the fuss of driving and parking. We would definitely stay here again.
