Positive: The accomodation is very new and everything was clean and in top shape. We enjoyed the new and very comfortable bed as well as the bathroom. Our room had a balcony with a nice view on Vesuvius. There is a large supermarket down at the same building. The Herculaneum excavations are just 7 minutes walking. The train station to Naples is about 20-25 minutes walking.

Negative: The location is very busy during evening and it is extremely difficult to park the car nearby the place. I do not recommend to park the car in front of the building, where the accomodation is, because of the supermarmarket and crazy traffic in the (one-way) street. The best option is to leave the car in a private garage which is 1 minute far away (Garage Italia, Corso Italia 31, price 20 EUR per day, opens at 6:00, closed during "siesta" 13:30 - 16:00, works until 23:00). The breakfast contains a coffee and a croissant which is completely fine but it is served in nearby bar (caffe) which si not nice and where strange people are present even in the morning (we recommended the owner to choose a different breakfast caffe so it might be better in future).

Summary: New, nice and very comfortable accomodation with challenging parking

Positive: Our host made us very welcome. Everything pretty new, clean, well serviced, central location but away from main road so fairly quiet. Would definitely come here again.

Negative: Nothing to complain about at all, very happy with our stay.

Positive: Very new renovated rooms, very clean and well equipped. 24/7 coffee machine in the hall, snacks in the minibar, nice balcony. Location is perfect for walking distance to Herculaneum site and to the train station. Supermarket is downstairs, plenty bars and pizzerias around. Owners are super helpful and also have airport transfer service which was perfect.

Negative: Location is authentic with normal city life happening (but area feels super safe with friendly locals). Be aware the rooms are on 5th floor of an apartment building with a very small elevator (2 persons max) so if you have issues with elevators, be prepared for stairs.

Summary: Perfect location for a cozy stay and walking distance to everything you need

Positive: The brothers were very kind, professional, and hospitable. The family has done a lovely job of converting the space of an old building to this 'mini hotel." Quality finishes., nice furnishings, awesome shower!

Negative: The location is a little sketchy. Ercolano isn't the prettiest town and the area of Ercolano where the House is located feels a bit rough. While we were initially disappointed in the coffee and croissant breakfast option, we got to know the folks who worked at the cafe... all very nice people.
