Positive: We had the most loveliest hosts. They couldn’t speak that much English which wasn’t an issue, as we were able to still communicate well via Google translate. We had a lovely private wine tasting and the breakfast each morning was pretty amazing, with each morning a self-baked quiche or different cakes. It is a basic accommodation, but with a love to detail and a very personal touch, perfect for a getaway in the Champagne.

Positive: The proprietors are the most hospitable, accommodating individuals. The room was very comfortable and clean. What was exceptional was the breakfast that Lydie served daily. Everything was home baked. Quiche, strawberry tart, croquet messeur including the usual… cheese, ham eggs fresh baguettes and croissants. They greeted us with a tour of their champagne cellar and several tastings of their delicious nectar

Negative: The view from the room faces the tractor garage. Per haps some plants in planters to hide the winery equipment would be an improvement.

Summary: Lydie is a fantastic host.

Positive: Lydie and Francis were very warm and welcoming. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Quiet neighborhood. Wonderful path for walking in the fields/vinyards behind the house.
