Positive: I had a lovely peaceful stay here while visiting family nearby over Christmas. The woodstove was ideal for this time of the year and really added to the atmosphere. Plus, the weather was cold so I did need the extra heat! The cottage was well kitted out, clean and comfy. They even put up a wee Christmas tree for me!

Negative: I could have used a little shelf in the bathroom for bits and bobs. And maybe a hook on the back of the bathroom door.

Positive: Very quiet, very kind, nice and helpful owner, though he had to go to the hospital to the new born, he managed to prepare the whole house - Congratulation one more time 😁 No reception was a blessing 😁 Internet was good, Netflix Prime were flowless. No neighbours, a lot of privacy. Absolutely can recommend it.

Negative: Didnt find anything like that.

Positive: So what we needed! A 2 day break away from all the noise of busy life, beautiful cottage, everything we needed was to hand, gorgeous scenery around us, a stove fire which was all set up for us when we arrived with turf and logs all we needed to do was put a match on it to light, wifi in the cottage, lovely cosy bed, we were able to bring our dog with us too which was a huge plus, the hosts are very friendly and so helpful, we thought of checking if it was available for another night but unfortunately we had commitments to get home for, however we will be going back just so relaxing and peaceful thank you Conor and Des 😁

Positive: Conor, the host. Due to sad circumstances, regarding his wife, the house wasn't as clean as usual. Even though, he had already hired a cleaning companie, that unfortunately didn't do a very good job. Because of our complaint about this, Conor offered to give us our money back and het did. That was extremely kind of him. So by now the house will again be spotless and cosy. It is very spacious and lies very private in a beautiful surroundings.

Positive: Well equipped cottage, comfortable bed. Fire ready for us to light on arrival. Peaceful location.

Negative: Cottage wasn't as clean as I would like. I understand it's a Cottage so expect spiders and cobwebs etc but there were surfaces that had dead insects on them like the cooker. It could be that it had been cleaned a few days prior to our arrival but maybe it should be checked over on the day of arrival.
