Summary: This property was very clean and nicely decorated. Though we didn’t use them it was a nice addition to have a grill and fire pit. Our group took everything we needed a few of us lived close enough to get anything else which was good because the kitchen wasn’t very stocked. Other than that it was just a beautiful place to stay.

Summary: Perfect country location near Holmes County attractions. The entire family enjoyed hanging out by the pool and on the deck. The host was accommodating and provided excellent communication.

Summary: This was an amazing property. It was perfect for my family to celebrate my sister’s 40th Birthday and spend quality, relaxing time together away from the city. The property is clean and just like the pictures as shown, I adore the Amish country and cherish the time of quietness and peace. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back again a 10 out of 10 property.

Summary: This is a nice house with beautiful backyard views. The bedrooms are nice. Downside the pool is not clean or clear as portrayed in the online picture.

Summary: The positives, if you want a central location in Amish country this is it. Breathtaking sunrises over a pasture provide a great view. Things that we wish we knew. There is a factory directly across the street, which only runs the first shift but there is a good chance semis will be idling all night and unloading begins pretty early. There is a LOT of traffic on this road, The vehicles and electric bikes are going at pretty high speeds. Lots of heavy equipment and trucks all through the night. There is little to no privacy. Between our lawn being cut what seemed like every 48 hours, neighbors on all sides, and the constant stream of people and traffic in the front. Now the negatives... The pool was full of algae and hadn't been cleaned prior to arrival. Wasnt an issue because the forecast wasn't great and we wouldn't be there much but still frustrating when you filtered by "Pool". The frustrating part was when a person with a dark hood up on a front-end loader pulled into the driveway and walked through the attached garage at 9:30 pm in the rain. No call, message, email, or knock at the door. No uniform or equipment decals. I was in the shower and it freaked out my wife and kids. When we contacted the property manager about it we were told that it was the pool cleaning company...in the dark, and rain at 930 pm... Toenail clippings in my son's bed, boogers wiped on the wall, stains on the comforter that we hope were hot chocolate and not blood, first "bad" VRBO experience

Summary: A nice home away from home. The pool is awesome. We enjoyed the view of the pasture & listening to the horses & sheep by the fire ring in the evenings. The deck was great for meals. The grill was absolutely one of the most disgustingly dirty grills we’ve ever seen, but thanks to my husband for thoroughly cleaning it before we used it! It’s now clean for future guests as long as they take time to also clean it up when they are done using it. Everything needed was provided for the most part, but lacked kids dishes & utensils as listed, also no high chair. That was a disappointment as they were listed as amenities & we didn’t bring those items. The linens & pots & pans are all very poor quality, but we always bring our own, so wasn’t a huge deal for us. The mattresses were very comfy! There also wasn’t any steak knives available. The very shear curtains definitely ensure you get up at the crack of dawn to start your day, lol. We had a few issues during our stay, which were addressed appropriately & to our satisfaction. Overall this really is a great place to stay. It’s not really kid proofed, all the doors have lever handles the child easily opens, unlike regular door knobs our 2 year old still hasn’t figured out how to open. Also, the exterior & basement doors could use a lock at the top to help with child safety. The home is semi-private with neighbors all around & a factory across the street, but quiet & peaceful. We will rent again & you should too!
