A beautiful four bedroom home on a small lake just outside of Kalkaska. We are located one mile from the Leetsville Trailhead! Great place for snowmobiling! Skiing is not far away, Schuss and Shanty are about a 20-25 min drive! We will also have several pairs of snow shoes for you to enjoy - it is time, Come Enjoy everything up North!
The lake is no wake, that is great for fishing, swimming, and kayaking! Lots of room to roam with the house sitting on 12 acres. The house is equipped with washer and dryer. The home is beautifully decorated to accommodate anyone's taste. With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen there is plenty of space. When staying you can enjoy a nice afternoon in the back yard enjoying the hammock, relaxing on the porch, taking a dip, or fishing off the deck. You and your guests are welcome to use the grill and enjoy a nice dinner while watching the sunset. Our home is situated on 12 acres with walking trails and lots of woods to explore! We are super close to Traverse City - home of the cherry festival! The house is located about 17 miles from Traverse City.

Summary: Chad and Aimee's home and property are perfect for a long weekend getaway! The lake is so peaceful and beautiful. We looked forward to having coffee down by the water every morning as well as being able to take the canoe and paddle boat out on the lake. It was a much needed escape from reality for a few days. Hospitality of the hosts was excellent and home is very clean and tidy. Absolutely loved our time here!

Summary: We spent a week at this property and it was perfect for us. It is at a great location and also quiet and peaceful. It is not far from town. We enjoyed the lake very much. The house is clean and well stocked with everything ones need for cooking and living. Our hosts were quick to answer my questions and prepared a very detailed and helpful guide. It has all the modern amenities. We didn't need the AC but it is surely nice to have. WIFI signal was very strong.

Summary: What is an extremely comfortable and welcoming home. It sat right on the water and it was very calm and quiet. The owners were very timely on any questions that I had. I guess the only negative was that the beds were very small for married couples I haven’t slept in a full in many years, But it was very comfortable and the kids and everyone had a great time. Thank you so much

Summary: This house is on a small lake with a swimming raft in the middle and boats for our use, as well as a fire pit and plenty of outdoor seating. It is well-stocked and supplied with everything one could need with many thoughtful touches. We had a very nice time! It's a quick drive in to kalkaska to get supplies as needed. There is a wonderful hiking trail for a short but beautiful, peaceful walk. We were a family of adults but families with children would have a wonderful time as well.
