5 Bedroom House in Abilene
Located just south of Abilene you will find this large, 3200 square foot, 2 story country home on 2+ acres with a beautiful pool! Open floor plan allows for everyone to easily spend time together. 5 bedrooms with different configurations can sleep at least 11 guests (more if you want to use the included air mattress or 4 couches) and the 3.5 bathrooms are easily shared. This home features a well stocked kitchen, coffee bar with drip coffee maker and a Keurig, laundry room with full size washer and dryer, dining room, and living room along with a second living area that is a media room, plus a back patio and pool area that allow for ample outdoor living! The attached 2 car garage can also be utilized for guest parking or storage of items during your stay. You can relax in the back yard and watch the cows graze in the field behind us, or enjoy the occasional fly over by our Dyess Air Force Base B-1s and C-130's. The privacy of the backyard will make you feel like you are a million miles from everything! But you are still only minutes away from everything that Abilene has to offer, or you can easily head south to Buffalo Gap and enjoy one of Perini's famous steaks.
This is our family home so we take great pride in it and have tried to make it very comfortable for guests. We know how it is to travel with children so we have left several "kid items" for your convenience such as a high chair, pack and play, child safety gate (for stairs), as well as an outdoor toddler play set.
Bedroom layouts are as follows: Downstairs - bedroom 1 - king bed, bedroom 2- bunk beds with full bed and twin bed, bedroom 3 - 2 twin beds. Upstairs - bedroom 4 - queen bed, bedroom 5 - full bed, 2 queen air mattresses also included.
COST: We charge a base rate per night for up to 4 people and $35/person/night after that up to 15 people (no more than 15 people can stay in the house and falsifying the guest count may result in forfeiture of your entire deposit). Plus a $1000 security deposit (refundable with proper cleaning and no damage). We require a 50% deposit to book and the remaining balance will be charged 2 weeks before your stay.
For extended stays (over 1 week), please contact us for special discounted rates.
We require a minimum 3 night stay, but we might waive that requirement if you pay a cleaning fee.
PETS: we have a NO PET POLICY. We charge $100 PER PET, PER DAY if we find a pet on the property (we have cameras). This is for ALL pets no matter shape or size.
Check in at 2pm and check out at 11am.
EVENTS: Due to issues in the past, we no longer allow events on the property. Only registered guests are allowed. (The exception to this could be that if you have a family member who lives nearby and would like to come by for a meal or something. Message us with details in advance for approval) There are many nice event venues in Abilene and we would be happy to try to help you find one if you need to have an event.
