Positive: Charming apartment, cozy and neat but much smaller than expected compared to the pictures. We did have a comfortable stay and the experience was decent and acceptable.
Negative: The main bedroom needs blinds for privacy. We couldn't open the curtains to the main bedroom, or it would expose us to the street view where you could see directly into the apartment bedroom as a pedestrian walking by. Could do with noise proof windows to block out the street noise. Didn't enjoy the ceiling fan / light combo. It doesn't work for both the main bedroom and living room to be connected to one remote control, it should work independently to one another. The wooden floors are really creaky and loud when you walk and move around the apartment, and you can hear the upstairs tenant's movements. Probably needs a washer/dryer inside the apartment and not in the basement. Too dindgy and carpeted stairs were dirty and dusty going down to the basement to access the washer & dryer that needed $1.50 in coins for each use. We waited 3 hours for the power to be restored before we could start making breakfast when the kitchen mains tripped up. The location was not close to the public transport system, making uber costs very expensive into NY City for a tourist.

Positive: Apartment is really beautiful , spacious and neatly decorated. The host were responsive and extremely thoughtful. They prepared everything in the smallest details and left everything we could have possibly needed , including cookies , a beautiful coffee station with multiple types of coffee and creamers, rice, cereals, condiments, seasoning, oil, etc. Everything about it was clearly oriented so that anyone would enjoy their stay to the maximum.
Negative: Unfortunately, the location was very far from Manhattan if you don't have a car and although we managed to get on some buses in the morning into Manhattan, it was extremely difficult to return to it at night, and that limited our options to explore New York more than we thought. A Lyft from Manhattan to this location is $52 -55 and the combination of Path + buses takes hours if you don't know the area and if it's late.
