Welcome to this quaint home that sits right on Davis Pond. Just a short drive from town you will find solitude at this peaceful retreat. You will find everything you need from the 3 bedroom house equipped with a large flatscreen TV, WiFi, and coffee with 2 bathroom for use. However, you will also find some peace and quiet as you look out onto the water.
Feel free to bring your canoe or even kayak!
-We offer 24/7 messaging but cannot always offer maintenance or staff to attend after 5 pm or before 9 am. We will do our best to resolve your needs and requests as quickly as possible once we have staff available.
-We offer just about everything you need to get started such as coffee, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc but please understand we offer enough to start your trip and any extras you need you will be responsible for.
Window units will be installed by Memorial Day through the end of Sept/ early October
This unit is not baby proofed. If you need any baby proofing for your stay please be sure to bring your own devices with you.
Weekly and monthly stays are welcome.

Summary: Outside location: 5 stars. Inside location: 2 stars: Half our nights disturbed by beeping noise. All alarms beeping on arrival so we disconnected to sleep. Batteries replaced 2 days later. Water heater beeps 31 times in the middle of the night. 10 days later carbon monoxide alarm started beeping again. Cleanliness: 1 star: Black mold in both bathrooms & dining sliding glass door –showed all to cleaning lady Ann. Two existing A/C units need filters replaced. Air smelled musty & dusty. I was ill the entire time with respiratory challenges; other members of my party also became ill within several days of staying. Dead bugs on floors; trash & dust left in closets & on floors; Rugs in bathrooms were soiled from previous rentals. Window cleaning tools were left in kitchen sink. Responsiveness: 4.5 stars: within 24 hours to requests. Appliances: 3 stars: Toaster found broke so new one arrived the next day. However, it did not toast; not even on high. It took 1 hour+ for the washing machine to load with water. It took over 3 cycles to dry clothes. Cleaning lady Ann mentioned perhaps we put too many clothes in the dryer, but that she had to leave a fitted sheet over the shower head in the hallway bathroom because it didn’t dry in the dryer. FYI, if a cheap appliance is bought, then it performs poorly. What can improve: Replace & clean A/C filters often; overall cleaning; Get rid of the black mold; Buy waste baskets for each bedroom & restroom; Buy & put chest of drawers and/or dresse

Summary: This place is the great. Srayed here several times. Would stay there afain if it ever available. Must stay. That peaceful morning by the eater is unforgettable

Summary: We were pleased that the property was as listed. We were in Holden to attend a family event so we did not get to explore the lake which looks like a wonderful adventure. Our daughter heard a loon. We would visit again. Thank you

Summary: The house (not a cabin) is a pre-fab house that was brought the site. It has many interesting features that needs instructions on how to use it. It did provide the services needed, but because there were no written instructions, things had to be figure out. The construction of the house was not well thought out because there were features that could make it better.

Summary: Though the house is nice, it was not perfect. When we got in, a ball if hair was in the kitchen. Only the MB is air conditioned plus the living room, so when you are inside, the house gets hot, specially at night when in bed. Location is a right in the middle of the forest, with dirt road leading to the property. I dont think it was mentioned in the website. The beds were good and sheets smells clean.
