Enjoy swimming, fishing, or just watching the blue heron, geese, and ducks from the dock. There are marinas in the area for boat rentals. (Feel free to dock the boat at our dock, if you do rent one). Relax as the sun reflects off the water. Visit the sights of western and Piedmont North Carolina.
Winston-Salem, Charlotte, Asheville, and the mountains are all within an easy drive. Enjoy shopping for furniture at the Hickory Furniture Mart or along US 321, gem mining in Hiddenite, races at the tracks in Hickory, Charlotte , or golfing at local courses.
The fully furnished kitchen, and tastefully decorated bedroom,bathroom and living room make this a wonderful place for a one- or two-week vacation or longer-term exploration of retirement possibilities. This quiet, peaceful location is just minutes from downtown Hickory and several nice restaurants
