Tastefully decorated open floor plan. Newly renovated 1 bedroom home for rent. . . Safe NE location, just 5 minutes to downtown and 15 minutes to the airport. Home is tucked away in a quiet, stately neighborhood with a park. The inviting rental is furnished for 1-2 people.
House features easy entry with just 2 steps up, gorgeous hardwood floors and new tile, open concept living and dining space. Bedroom configuration is 1 queen. Home has strong WIFI for your use and a 30" television with ROKU.
You will have access to off street parking, air conditioning and even laundry onsite. Rental includes everything you need including sheets/bedding, towels, coffee/tea bar with Keurig, fully stocked kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge and dishwasher plus all dishes, pans and utensils. Guests can also enjoy the 3 seasons sun room. Towering shade trees and quiet will make you forget you are even in the city while you relax inside or out. Walking trails in the neighborhood and nearby Reeds Lake. Nearby Eastown, Uptown, Cherry Hill, downtown Grand Rapids and the Medical Mile are all an easy bike or car ride (healthy walk too) to many restaurants, coffee shops, local breweries, farmer's market, etc. Also, guests of Aquinas College (walking), Calvin College, Cornerstone University, DeVos Place, VanAndel Arena, Meijer Garden will find the location excellent.
The brick ranch home is smoke free and pet free and great for allergy-free needs since a full renovation of the home was recently completed. Bathroom has large vanity, toilet and tub/shower.

Summary: Was as described. On a quiet street and close to the attractions we were looking for. Owner is responsive and attentive. One drawback is that the VRBO policy is to hold the security deposit for 7-14 days and they actually charge your card and then credit you later. Not the biggest deal in the world but due to my credit card statement timing, I had to pay the $500 and then got reimbursed by them. It’s not a deal breaker for most, just something to be aware of. We would certainly stay here again! It’s a great place.

Summary: Our group came for into town for a church conference, and we loved this place. It was clean, spacious, with a great kitchen. The indoor gas fireplace was a real treat on a rainy weekend. Highly recommend.

Summary: The house was perfect for our family gathering. And the beds were comfortable! The neighborhood is very nice and a quick car ride to cute shops and restaurants. The owners were nice and everything was smooth. We'd definitely stay again!

Summary: We rented this to attend a family funeral in GR where we are from. The house has been totally redone on the first floor and redone well (I have done a number of houses myself and know what quality is). The wood floor throughout the first floor is spectacular. We also really enjoyed the modern kitchen, bathroom, and especially the gas fireplace. We would definately rent this place again without question. I also want to thank the owners they were very responsive.

Summary: My wife and I chose this house because of it's proximity to our families living in GR. We have family living in Ada, Heritage Hill and a block from this home making it the perfect central starting point for all our GR adventures - Downtown, Cascade/Ada, East Hills, EGR, Meijer Gardens, etc.. We loved the crisp Fall walks through the Aquinas College grounds and into EGR. Heidi and Richard and their family are nearby so when we needed a few more kitchen items so we could cook for a family gathering they brought them right over. We liked it's uncluttered and clean aesthetic and look forward to returning!
