Enjoy championship golf at Mill River Golf Course or 9 holes at St. Felix Golf Club. Visit the O'Leary Potato Museum, North Cape Wind Site. Take a hike on Confederation Trail, go deep sea fishing at Matthews Deep Sea Fishing ,spend the day at the beach or take the kids to Mill River Fun Park. Lots of shopping in the area and great restaurants. There is lots to do in Western PEI or if you just want to sit back and relax you can do that too.

Summary: This cottage was wonderful. Beautiful spot with plenty of room both inside and out. There were more than enough blankets and an abundance of dishes and spices of every kind. Ceiling fans and opening windows at night made it cool enough to sleep. Very much recommend this beautiful place!

Summary: Spent a week at this lovely chalet. Great views of the Mill River. It was a comfortable and cozy cottage. Neat and clean. I really appreciated the allergy covers on beds and pillows as I am allergic to dust mites. Also, because of my allergies, loved the fact that pets are not allowed in this home. That was a HUGE plus. It's in a lovely location, close to Alberton and shops. The only (minor) con I can even think of was that we did need to go buy a frying pan because the pans that were there were quite scratched and even had some food residue left on them from prior cooking. Other than that it was a perfect stay and would rent this property again in a second.

Summary: We traveled to PEI for a family reunion. This cottage was close to where Reunion was held and close to family who live on the island. We were impressed with the size of the cottage and the view. It had a fully equipped kitchen and the washer and dryer came in real handy. It had a beautiful breeze blowing through it on the hot humid days. It was very quiet and private which we liked. The stairs to the loft were very steep which were a bit scary The beach was a disappointment. The stairs going to the beach were very steep and in need of repair. The beach was rocky. The barbecue was old and could be replaced with a Newer model. There was no driveway you had to park on the road. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Summary: This gorgeous chalet was absolutely perfect for my family of 5 (2 adults + a 7, 5, and 18 month old). The chalet is right on the river which was perfect for our 5 & 7 year old to go down to all on their own to find shells and watch the birds & boats. We were 5 minutes from the town of Alberton which had everything we needed (grocery store, liquor store, gas station) including a delicious bakery and cafe. Inside the chalet itself was every appliance and gadget we could ever hope for and lovely, comfortable furniture. We were about 15 minutes from the Mill River Fun park which was awesome for my kids age group. This might even be closer once the bridge beside the cottage is up and running again. We had to go a round about way I think. We went for a few hour drive and visited West Point lighthouse and beach, Campbellton Cove beach and Skinners Pond, all on a hunt for sea glass, which we found. All of the neighbours were very friendly. We had an all around, fabulous family vacation at the Mill River Chalet. One thing I would mention is that if you're bringing a small child that you would be concerned about on stairs just bring a pressure mounted baby gate. It will fit between the banister and the wall. The stairs are fairly steep and very enticing to a toddling adventurer.
