4 Bedroom House in Beaver Dam

Lake home with 130' of frontage on Beaver Dam Lake for fishing and recreation. Amenities include 2 40' dock, use of kayaks (7), canoe and paddleboats (3). Boat launch about a mile away. 4 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, flat screen tv's in the master bedroom and family room. OTA TV with full roster of channels from both Madison and Milwaukee markets. BYO streaming service.
High speed unlimited data internet available for flex work/home schooling.
Please note that this is a 'whole house' 1/2 of a duplex. This is a part of a rather unique duplex that offers maximum privacy with separate private decks, pellet/charcoal combo grill, separate entrances and HVAC systems.
I do require photo ID's for all adults 18 yo+ and the first names and ages of all children under 18 yo. This is used for emergency and liability reasons only. There are no exceptions to this requirement. All ID's are held securely for your protection.
The main renter must be 25 yo+. Please contact me for potential exceptions based on previous host recommendations.
Maximum occupancy is 8 people including infants and children due to rural septic limitations. Please do not ask for exceptions to this capacity. I will not be able to honor any requests for more than 8 people.
Parking on this residential driveway is limited to 3 vehicles including any boat or other trailers. all other vehicles must be parked off site. Park on the narrow residential road at your own risk. No parking is allowed on the grass or mound septic system.
please note that this is a NON-smoking property. if there are smokers in your group you will need to let them.know that they can't smoke in the home or the decks or within 20' of a door or window. All smoking materials must be disposed of on a fireproof device and cannot be thrown on the lawn, lake or any garbage container. If they are unable to comply there will be a $200 surcharge to cleanup any smoking related materials.
Pet friendly but pet owners must pick up waste immediately and dispose of it responsibly. Petsay not be left alone in the unit unless they are in a crate. I have an extra large crate for your use but you must bring you own pet bedding. No cats are allowed in the unit at any time.

Summary: We had a really nice weekend. Kathy was more than accommodating, providing, and friendly. Beaver Dam was a lot of fun too. Friendly locals and quaint little town. :) Don't forget to check out LeRoys for your fresh Wisconsin dairy!!

Summary: Beautiful Country Lakefront setting! Large yard. Peaceful, yet still close to neighboring homes & short driving to local attractions & towns. So many extras with this property and a very kind & accommodating host! Unique & lovely spiral staircase feature to all 4 second level bedrooms (plus outdoor straight staircase to master bedroom balcony/deck) Games, Books, Video Library + abundant TV channels, fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grilling area, firepit, paddle boats and kayaks. We traveled to visit an elderly relative who resides in the local area...we invited them over for a meal and their wheelchair easily had access to the main floor living room/kitchen/dining open floor plan. A good time was enjoyed by all as we shared memories, food and laughs! The teenagers and young adults absolutely LOVED the kayaks and paddle boats! They could have stayed on the water all weekend! The lake offers much to explore and the mid-October weather was beautiful! We also enjoyed time shopping/dining locally in Fox Lake, Beaver Dam and Columbus...and a creative craft/art session at the "Art On The Town" studio in Beaver Dam. After each day's activities out & about we enjoyed a good rest in the comfortable beds and were ready for the next adventure! ,,,inspired by all of the travel decor and collection of world globes in the home!

Summary: Excellent home to relax and enjoy the Beaver Dam community, Horicon and the lake. Amenities abound a tht home from games to appliances and the host went out of her way to accommodate!! Certainly recommend a get away trip or even a lengthy stay if your up to fishing and enjoying the area!

Summary: There are some rentals where they give you barely enough (i.e. 3 towels, 12 knives, 4 spoons, and 1 fork) but that is NOT this rental. This rental seriously has MORE than ANYTHING you could need. We appreciated the abundance of towels/washcloths, eating utensils, outdoor seating, etc. The owner shares the duplex and should anything go wrong, I am confident she would make it right. She is a delightful person and wants to make sure your visit is more than you expect. She is very accommodating when plans change. And the VIEW! Loved looking out on the water and listening to all the birds. So relaxing, peaceful, and wonderful. Was a fantastic property to visit with our family, which was the whole point of our visit to WI. LOVED it all!
