Summary: We had a great time! The property is well-cared for and the owner is very responsive. The camp was very clean and appointed with everything you need for a comfortable camp stay. The owner left freshly cut flowers in vases around the property, which was a really nice, cozy touch. The camp is close to other homes but is tucked in among beautiful tall trees, which provides a sense of privacy and seclusion. The view of the river and surrounding mountains is breathtaking. It was very peaceful to sit outside for a fire or to read. The location is about 20 minutes away from Queensbury and Lake George. It was nice to be close to those areas to go do things during the day. And then we came back to camp for a quiet relaxing evening. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable camp getaway!

Summary: This property is everything you want in a cottage by the river. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, beautiful sunsets, s'mores at the campfire, and a little dock for fishing and swimming. The current isn't swift, but it is a river and you will float away in your float (or boat) if not tied to the dock. We enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs and eating on the picnic tables. Great TV (we brought our own ROKU stick to watch fabulous movies). The store in Lake Luzerne has everything you'd ever need. The Pizza joint was delicious and the Chinese take-out restaurant was mostly very tasty (avoid ordering Thai food as it is not Thai food). The laundromat was clean and welcomed after being on vacation a week before in Canada. This location was perfect for us to visit Ticonderoga, Saratoga Springs, and two college visits for our daughter in VTand MA. Highly recommend.

Summary: We wanted to take a trip up north to check out the fall foliage and we weren't disappointed. This property was just what we were looking for. The cabin was clean and cozy just 20 yards away from the river with a nice yard, fire pit, Adirondack chairs and a boat dock. Inside the cabin you'll find everything you'll need for your stay. Coleen and John even left us a bottle of wine and fresh cut flowers. The property is centrally located to other attractions that are less than a half hour away. We went to Lake George, explored Hadley and Lake Luzerne. Overall we were pleased with our stay and look forward to possibly coming up again next year.

Summary: There are others around, it's not at the top of a mountain without anyone for miles but it seems secluded. The Hudson is 20 yards away with a view of the mountains so a fire and Adirondack Chair is a perfect way to watch nothing happen.I wish they had sound suppressors on the Jet Skis that fire up and down but you can't have everything. Easy access to Saratoga Springs and the Park and the nice lady who sells Tomatoes and Pies at the end of the street.

Summary: We just returned from a week-long stay and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house itself is small and cozy, just as described. The property is large with really great amenities. The kids loved playing Badminton. We brought our boat with us and easily kept it at the dock at the house. We had a blast taking the kids tubing on the Hudson. We couldn’t get over how clean the water was. We found a great spot not far from the house in the river where you can stand and hang out in the water. Many boats were there doing the same thing. Kids used the kayaks and we brought our paddle board. This house is centrally located and was ideal for us as we were also visiting Lake George as well as Saratoga Springs. Coleen & John left us a bottle of wine and fresh flowers throughout which is such a nice touch. They also provided sample size bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash, etc in the bathroom which is something you really never find in vacation rentals. Those extra touches along with the fun/antique decor really makes everything super special. The only thing I wish this property had was a screened in porch as the bugs were a bit much to deal with but it was very warm when we were there and bugs do live outside so there’s not much you can do about that and we understood that. The tiki torches that are in the backyard definitely helped a bit. We highly recommend staying here at this cozy, waterfront home!!

Summary: Hosts communicated very quickly before our stay and were in contact during as well. Very clean, roomy and perfect for our family! It’s a great location to have more of an authentic Adirondack stay while also being able to travel to attractions close by. We had a wonderful time!

Summary: Honestly the pictures just don’t do this property justice! It is nestled into this beautiful little private lot and the view of the water is amazing. We had so many things on our agenda but we found ourselves just wanting to stay at the cabin and enjoy the relaxation. The cabin itself is clean, comfortable and very cozy. The owners left us a bottle of wine and a cupcake in the fridge for my birthday which I thought was very kind!!! Close to lake George but honestly you will appreciate the quiet. For runners there are plenty of sidewalks to get your morning run in. We went for golf and there were plenty of beautiful courses in the area to enjoy. We will definitely be returning.

Summary: This Lake Luzerne property is everything you need in a perfect little getaway. Communication with the owner was simple, punctual, and informative. The cabin was extremely clean and organized, the kitchen having utensils and Clorox wipes if needed, the bathroom stocked with extra toilet paper. The king sized bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. An added plus was the kayaks out back which we enjoyed taking out for an afternoon on the lake. And lastly, the location is superb if you are an introvert and don’t want to see people, it’s on its own little wooded area where no one but the animal friends will bother you. Would 10/10 recommend.
