Summary: Sitting on the river with a view of raw nature was perfect. The fireplace was utilized a lot. Lol. The stars and quiet at night makes this cottage wonderfully peaceful. The big windows gave us a great view of a mother and baby deer outside. My family and I had an amazing time and miss it already. Will definitely stay again.

Summary: Jays cottage is awesome. While the river is too shallow to swim, the dogs enjoyed running in off the little sandy beach and we all adventured down the stream. This house is on a huge piece of land, tons of room for my 3 year old to play frisbee and run around chasing the dogs. Comfy beds and tons of towels. Would definetly come back :). Thanks for hosting us!

Summary: This is a fully appointed house not a cottage! We had a wonderful 8 day stay here. The owner was very responsive to our questions. The property is fantastic. Our two Labradors loved the easy water access and spent 2+ hours/day swimming in the river chasing frisbees and sticks. The house itself has all the comforts of home and the outdoor hot tub was well used! Can’t recommend this property enough!! Loved seeing the deer that dropped by every early morning to eat the apples for breakfast too! Hoping to return next summer again.

Summary: The only positive thing about this location was the hot tub and the fire pit. Firewood not included, Very close to the road with lots of ATV traffic. Every morning I spend 30 minutes to clean the lawn from the duck poop. The kayaks are old and missing all the safety equipment, no life vests included. Some of the outside furniture is old and broken. The kitchen cook top is an antique. Door panels are broken on the cabinets. Most of the indoor furniture, I had hard time to sit on. It is very old and dirty. The master bedroom was nice, so was the other 2 rooms. Good for 4 adults plus the room with the bunk beds. I booked this place for 6 adults and 3 kids, Good thing, two of the adults could not make it, they would not have a comfortable place to sleep. The sleep sofas are only made for sitting not sleeping. There is few board games in the game room, outdoor volley ball court for games. I will not go back nor recommend this place to my friends.

Summary: A well equipped, nicely maintained property. We were 8 people and never felt cramped. The sound of the river while having morning coffee outside was very relaxing. Very comfortable beds, lots of blankets and pillows. It was also nice to not have to bring linens, towels, toilet paper...

Summary: Loved this place, great owner and property was fantastic. All you needed in a vacation, hot weather, Sandy volleyball court, clean lake, fireplace and hot tub. We will be back, tell your friends as they will not be disappointed
