2 Bedroom Cabin in Longbranch

Big windows with awesome views – a great place to relax on the deck and watch the birds. The unique saltwater lake is swimable in the summer; it's a closed cove with no tidal action, with private dock, and a beachfront on Case Inlet a short walk away.
Wake to otters playing on the dock. Watch the resident ducks paddle & herons swoop. Watching the birds on the ever-changing colors and reflections of the water can be an all-afternoon meditation. Take the canoe over to the berm that forms the only warm, swim-able salt water lake on the sound. Walk the beach at sunset to watch the spectacular colors over the Olympics; s'mores around the fire later; bliss.
Guest will have access to the private dock, canoe and 2 SUPs, and the Cove Association private beach. Joemma Beach State Park, with some short trails, a marina, and a pier for fishing is walking distance. The beach is wonderful for walking, and picnicking, and is located on the quiet Case Inlet – perfect for kayaking. Tacoma is 45 minutes away for wonderful museum destinations, The Glass Museum, Lemay Car Museum, Tacoma Art Museum, and the Washington State History Museum. There is a golf course ½ hour away, and a winery down the road. There are many other adventures nearby, Penrose State Park and Lakebay Marina are on the East side of the Key Peninsula. The cabin is a 1 ½ hour drive from Seattle.
Cabin has two small bedrooms, one with a double bed, and one with bunk beds, and an open loft upstairs that has a double bed. It has one full bathroom. It is a cozy cabin and suited for up to 4 people maximum.
Perfect for a ladies group getaway weekend. Contact the owner about the possibility of adding a guided arts or crafts activity to your weekend.
The cabin is located near YMCA Camp Coleman, it would be a perfect place for parents to stay while their child is at camp ... or if you were a camper and remember those idyllic days on Whiteman Cove, you can re-live them at the cabin.

Summary: This cabin is very quiet and peaceful. Loved sitting on the deck and watching the sunset. We loved paddle boarding, canoeing, and sitting in the chairs on the dock. I highly recommend if you are looking to get away and unplug.

Summary: Set in a beautiful natural setting this cabin is very well appointed with everything you need! Loved the stylish and authentic rugs throughout, very clean and kitchen is very well stocked. At&t and Tmobile - service non-existent, but it was pretty nice to disconnect from the world for a couple of days... Thank you very much! We will be back! :)

Summary: Really nice, low stress cabin and not that far of a drive from Seattle. We wanted to take our 5-year-old out for her first canoe experience and were glad to have something more mellow than what Lake Union would have offered. Between Joemma Beach, Penrose Park, and the cove itself, lots of outdoor spaces to explore. The cabin itself was a great space for home base. Sarah was flexible with check in and check out times, which was super helpful.

Summary: The cabin was wonderful and has a great deck for relaxing. The view and scenery were beautiful. Our hostess thought of all the little things which made it a fantastic experience. I would definitely go back!

Summary: The Cove Cabin was the perfect little home for my friend and I to stay at as we celebrated another friend’s wedding in Longbranch. There was plenty of room for us, all the appointments necessary to cook, rest and relax and exceptional communication from the owner. The views from the house, and accessibility to pretty beach walks was exceptional. We felt a million miles away!

Summary: Sarah's property surpassed our expectations. We enjoyed wonderful meals on the back deck while observing blue heron, otter, and geese move about in the water amid the evening's cool air. Being a Texan, we were pleasantly surprised by the late sunsets and took full advantage of each beautiful ending to the day. The house was extremely clean, tastefully decorated, and well equipped to meet all our needs. Thank you Sarah for sharing your little slice of heaven!

Summary: What an amazing property. I have stayed in many VRBO properties and just wow! Walked in with a lovely note from Sarah wishing my friends and I a wonderful time. Plenty of room for the 5 of us and the kitchen was full stocked with everything you needed....it was the small things like the condiments/coffee/milk already provided that made our stay even better. This property is meant for anyone from a romantic getaway, family trip or girls weekend. Sarah has thought of everything possible to make sure your stay is perfect.
