You can walk from here to the Pearl and San Antonio Riverwalk in less than 3 blocks. This part of the Riverwalk is quaint, quiet, and beautiful. The property is on the street that dead-ends into the walking bridge that crosses the San Antonio Riverwalk into the Pearl District. The Pearl District is home to the internationally recognized boutique Hotel Emma. Hotel Emma is a re-innovation of the Pearl Brewery, and includes Supper (farm to table chef driven fare), Southerleigh (southern style comfort food), and Sternwurth (extravagant cathedral spaced bar) At the bridge you'll find the beginning of miles of decadently landscaped outdoor space along the upper Riverwalk, recently re-finished by the City of San Antonio. There are waterfalls, fish, turtles, grottos, sitting spaces, bars, restaurants, and music venues all along the path. It trails through Downtown and transitions into the traditional San Antonio Riverwalk areas built for tourism with a mile of restaurants, hotels, bars, and venues. If you go right from the house, you can walk 1/4 mile to N St Mary's street which is the hip, nightlife hot spot of San Antonio. Food, bars, pool hall, honky tonk, live music venues, and food trucks.
