Positive: The architecture is stunning; it beautifully blends historical charm with a modern touch. You can truly feel the host’s careful attention to detail and impeccable taste in every corner. The host’s sincere and warm hospitality truly touched us, and the breakfast was absolutely incredible—on par with a five-star hotel. The pool area in the back is fantastic—unfortunately we didn't have enough time to enjoy it. We really hope to visit again and stay longer to fully soak it all in.

Negative: The location is a bit secluded, but that is exactly what makes it so unique and beautiful; as long as you can arrange an Uber or a lift from the host, it’s really not an issue at all.

Summary: It offers excellent value for the price and is well worth a return visit.

Positive: Marta and José are exceptional hosts who have gone above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Since we don't have a vehicle and there's no nearby restaurant, Marta made a hearty Galician soup for us paired with an awesome bottle of Albariñio wine. The next morning, breakfast was fantastic, and José provided us with a ride to drop me off back on my Camino trail. The bed is very comfortable and the house and backyard are gorgeous and peaceful

Negative: Far out fr coastal Portuguese Camino - taxi there was 40 euros and 18 min No restaurants or cafes near the accommodation

Positive: Super friendly people, so warm and nice. They helped me with a lot of things, speak English and French. Wonderful breakfast and last but not least the best night ever, so quiet! Very positive vibe 🌞

Negative: The swimming pool was very cold but it was a wonder for my Camino legs!

Positive: A generous, beautifully crafted and presented breakfast - Martha is an ex Cordon Bleu trained cook having formerly run a hotel with Jose in Ibiza and it definitely shows: local goats cheeses, freshly pressed orange juices, home-made fig jams and a variety of cured meats. Immaculate room with great touches. A very warm welcome on our arrival on bikes in pouring rain. Best value of our 5 day ride.

Negative: Nothing except that the weather wasn't conducive to us using the swimming pool in April!

Summary: A cocooning, independent experience in a beautifully quiet village.
