Positive: The fact that they have free parking is huge. It’s the beginning of the trail through the town which is convenient. Staff were polite and made check in very easy. The room was modern and well appointed.
Negative: Not much of a view I thought it was on a meadow but it’s in the town which was fine

Positive: We liked the location to the sites throughout Hallstat. Free parking on site was appreciated. Having coffee and tea available throughout the day was very nice. The room was a nice size.
Negative: Limited tv channels. No youtube option. The hotel breakfast was very expensive at 18 Euros per person. Normally Bed and Breakfasts include a breakfast?

Positive: Its really at the edge of the very small town of Hallstatt. A short walking distance to everything. Nice big rooms. Very clean! Comfy beds. Great breakfast for the price. Staff was nice and helpful. They gave us recommendations and helped with our questions. They even offered us beach towels for swimming in the lake. We could leave the car parked after check out and they even stored some of our luggage until we picked it up. And the view feom the balcony is gorgeous.
Negative: Nothing as everything was as described and expected. And we really liked the staff.

Positive: Location was close to the center town of Halstatt, close to grocery, shopping. restaurants and the lake. Also close to funicular and salt mine (we did not have the chance - close for renovation, but advertised will be opening summer 2026). Free parking on site. I appreciate the quick response with all my questions. Helpful staff. Clean and comfortable bed.
Negative: It was hot in the room as no A/C but I asked for a fan.
