Positive: The location was great, the room was comfortable. The entire stay was very cosy and clean. The hosts were extremely nice and very helpful. The breakfast was also great. They realized we didn’t have winter tires in our rental car when it snowed heavily the next day and contacted the rental car company for us to help get us a replacement car.
Summary: A lovely, cozy stay with amazing hosts, would loved to have stayed longer!

Negative: The bedding is a little too warm for me, but typical of most similar accommodation in Japan.

Positive: The host does his best to make you feel welcome and at home. The property is very clean, gorgeous and homey. Breakfast was delicious home cooked food. Well worth the stay. It was a shame I could not stay longer. The town nearby is also very cute and worth seeing. Much prettier than Furano.
Negative: Nothing negative to say.

Positive: A rural setting just out of town, but still very accessible to everything. Very quiet. Traditional Japanese house and room, room is futons on tatami but spacious with toilet and basin in the room. Shower/bath is downstairs. Everything spotless. Yuki and Hiro are lovely hosts and very obliging, and the free electric bikes are a real bonus (very useful if you don’t have a car).
Negative: Nothing!
Summary: Megamiyuki is a great pension in the beautiful environs of Biei which itself is a lovely town
