Positive: Beautiful rooms

Negative: There were no garbage bins at all neither in the rooms nor the bathroom. My daughter woke up screaming as a bug crawled on her while sleeping. I had to smash it with a shoe. The door knob was broken and it fell . We couldn’t close the door to the bedroom. There was only a bath tub, not a shower as we expected and like. No one ever reached out to ask if we are ok or not or if we needed anything. The rooms were on the 4th floor. It was not easy to carry our belongings as there wasn’t an elevator on site. We had no human interaction. No fridge in the room or in the lobby or anywhere, or a microwave so we can warm up something for the kids. Not a good experience overall. Dogs were barking like crazy early morning and at night. We chose the area thinking it will be nice and quiet. Quite the opposite.

Positive: The room was clean and pretty big, it’s located in a park so very chill. The staff is kind an helpful. The only 2 bad thing is the bed so uncomfortable I wasn’t able to have a good sleep, and there’s no hot water it’s just lukewarm.

Positive: The location was very nice. It is on a secluded street, close to the forest. It might not be right in the city but Baia Mare is not that big so you can take a walk to the city center or hire a taxi. Has a very homey vibe. We only stayed for a night but I would stay here again. The room was very big and had a terrace that overlooked the forest. The owners/ staff were very friendly and helpful, communication was very prompt.

Negative: Bed to firm for my taste. The shower hand a curtain, a lot of water got onto the bathroom floor. Too much mismatched furniture in the room, it gives a little bit of a storage vibe.
