Positive: The property was central to shops, bars and la Cala beach…. plus it had a washing machine
Negative: The apartment needs a remodel, a coat of paint would change a very bland apartment into a beautiful place to stay. The in closed terrace was a waste of space, it was way to hot to go in. The pool area had no sun beds, chairs or side tables. The Spanish residents were very rude wanting to know what apartment we were in, blocking our entrance to pool with my two grandchildren as we had left our key in apartment until I went up and got pool key.. The handle on the door going out of apartment block had been snapped off so every time you went out you needed keys which was awkward if you was going out to bins or Aldi

Positive: The property was conveniently located, just a short walk to the centre of LaCala. It’s also next to supermarkets, restaurants, the golf course and a range of amenities. The apartment itself was brilliant, spacious, it had everything required and had a fabulous outside space. The pool area was very well maintained. The host and service provider were excellent.
Negative: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like at this property.
Summary: Fabulous apartment in a well maintained complex. We look forward to booking again!

Positive: Nice apartment all on one level on floor 3 but there is a lift.Comfortable lounge area with a large tv (mainly Spanish,only Dmax in English).Kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook.Good shower.Large balcony that gets the sun all day with loungers and comfortable sitting/eating areas.Lots of nice lighting,plenty of cushions and welcome beer,soft drinks and water in the fridge - a nice thoughtful touch.I would come back here.
Negative: Having to collect the keys from an office.The back (main) bedroom is somewhat overlooked by neighbours and would benefit from curtains ( but there is a metal drop-down shade).

Positive: Apartment was first class and in such a good location. Exceptionally clean.
Negative: Only a small thing but the handle on the bathroom door was broken on the inside meaning if you closed the door tight then you couldn't open it from inside the bathroom. A minor issue for us though

Positive: Brilliant accommodation. Spacious lounge and en suite bedroom. Good size shower room. Loved the 2nd lounge/balcony. Main balcony is amazing!!
Negative: Would be nice if some of main balcony had an awning/canopy as it gets a lot of sun but too windy for parasol.
Summary: Would definitely stay again. Perfect location for walking to town.

Positive: The apartment has great potential. Very well distributed, spacious penthouse apartment with sophisticated solutions (e.g. outdoor terrace furniture). We spent a lot of time on the terrace, and in the evenings the cosy glowing bodies and the starry sky made up for everything. It is useful to have your own underground car park, so the car is always cool when you want to go somewhere. The outdoor pool is all you need, well kept, well maintained, we loved it. Well equipped, although the kitchen is a little dated compared to the rest of the apartment. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Shopping facilities are close by (Aldi, Carrefour) but the beach is also a few minutes walk away. An excellent starting point for excursions (etc. Marbella 20 mins, Malaga 25 mins, Gibraltar 70 mins, Nerja 70 mins).
Negative: Unfortunately, we thought there were 3 bedrooms, but in reality there were only 2, because the third room was a terrace with a glass, which was unfortunately too hot and bright to be used for sleeping. For others this might not be a problem, but it was not what we had in mind. What is definitely worth improving, but I think it can be easily done, is a more thorough cleaning. Because we have a robot vacuum cleaner, which we used with care, but there were problems with the cleanliness when we arrived. Fortunately, the host's very kind and helpful attitude offered a solution to this, and the next day the cleaners came out again and tidied up, cleaned up thoroughly, mopped up, and after that we had no problems for the cleaning. Another suggestion for improvement is to make more space in the large wardrobes in the rooms for storing clothes.
Summary: Stylish apartment, close to the sea, with an Excellent host.

Positive: The complex is wonderful. Great location wonderful pool and not too busy. The views from the apartment were wonderful.. The apartment was very stylish. The agent was great as the kettles blew up and brought new one next day.. Agent also sorted taxi transfers with great company.
Negative: The kitchen is dated and has lots of old gadgets but no coffee machine. I would expect a penthouse apartment to have more modern equipment. The apartment had no english TV and a very complex TV, wifi system. It did have apple TV which you must also have to use. The balcony is huge with brilliant views but no shade. It has umbrella but you were afraid to leave it up incase it blew off balcony accompanied by big sign saying do not leave it unattended. Had some electrical issues lights on balcony had to be fixed and kettle blew apartment fuses. Though great agent sorted straight away. There was confusion on our leaving date. Owners told agent we were leaving day before we were, so were met by cleaners and deliveries entering apartment on what should have been our last relaxing day.. having to clarify we had one more day. Lots of inconvenience for agent..
