Lake Speed is a beautiful 1500 square foot luxury penthouse condominium located on the top floor with 15 foot ceilings on Lake Martin’s eastern shore (sunsets!) sleeps 6 (private) and is fully furnished and equipped to accommodate all of your vacation needs. This building is located closest to the water for quick access to your boat!!! The main area includes a beautifully lake style living room with a sleeper sofa and open kitchen. Stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. A game pub table is in the kitchen that will accommodate 4 people inside as well as 4 bar stools. The living room leads into the master suite which features a large white reclaimed wood king size bed, luxury Serta IComfort mattresses. The master suite bath features a large double vanity bathroom, granite counters, with soaker tub and separate tiled, stand-up shower and walk-in closet.
The 2nd bedroom also includes a rustic wood bed with a NEW Serta IComfort mattress, 3rd bedroom includes twin bunk beds for the kiddos. A walk thru laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer is available for use. The best attraction is the oversized covered and private, lakeside balcony with a waterfront view. The balcony has a farm table which accommodates 6 and seating area with an outdoor fireplace, and Weber gas grill.
An assigned deep water boat slip is available for this unit.
Inside the gated Stillwaters community, the Stoneview Summit complex has a gated pool with stone waterfall and waterslide, beautiful poolhouse, wide-open green spaces and a spacious outdoor pavilion with two stone wood-burning firepits just to make smores. Stillwaters features a full-service marina (boat rentals available at Lakeside Marina), a shipstore complete with a full line of grocery and boating items, two boat ramps and a par-72 championship golf course with on-site pro shop and driving range – so bring your clubs! If you want to try your luck at another well known golf course, the Robert Trent Jones Grand National Golf Course is approximately 30 minutes from Stillwaters in Opelika.
Are you ready for Auburn Football? Jordan Hare stadium is approximately 30 minutes from this condo, which a perfect getaway from the traffic and congestion of the games. Come relax after cheering your favorite team on to their win.
There are many activities to do in the surrounding area depending on what's your fancy. Coppers Restaurant which is located in the Stillwater's Resort at the Golf Course Clubhouse is a wonderful treat if you don't want to go the distance. Buffet breakfast brunch which is yummy, along with lunch and dinner are served. At night there is a weekend band that plays all types of music. A quick drive around Stillwaters just minutes away, you will find many restaurants that are within a 15 minutes drive. 30 minutes drive to Kowaliga Bay restaurant with the beautiful Panoramic Water View. You will also find yourself a short boat ride from infamous Chimney Rock for your daytime activities and Chuck’s Marina (best pizza) for great night life fun, but be prepared for the crowds.

Summary: Had a great stay at this condo at Lake Martin. Smaller condo, but very nice, and plenty of room for our family - 4 adults and 3 young children. The porch is awesome with great views of the lake. Kitchen has basically everything you need. Super nice pool. Fun for young kids. Great Lake access. No beach or anything there, but it’s a no wake zone in the cove and kids can swim around if desired. Also a dedicated boat slip if you rent a boat. I suggest Harborside - a 2 minute drive within Stillwater’s. All around great spot and a very communicative and helpful owner. Thanks!!

Summary: The location of this condo is perfect as we brought our boat and were able to quickly get to all the activities on the lake. Easy access to the local marina as well. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for a perfect weekend getaway. My personal favorite was sitting on the balcony in the morning drinking coffee and watching the activity on the docks.

Summary: Our recent rental for a golf trip weekend to Stillwaters was top notch. From the initial interaction with the owner, to the check in process, to the awesome accommodations. Our deposit was promptly refunded after our stay. This unit is one of the best on property sites. Nicely decorated with great attention to detail, and best of all a breathtaking view of the lake. I would highy recommend renting through this owner!
