Positive: The gardens were spectacular. It is a beautiful setting for a relaxing w'end. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We dined in one night. The meals were delicious but on the small side. We enjoyed having a game of pool, and Boules in the garden. Strolling around the gardens with rabbits everywhere brought a smile to us all.
Negative: We had stains on our carpet. The pillows were too high. We upgraded to the Garden wing. Sadly, I didn't request for a north facing garden room. Our room faced south on the pines. It felt hemmed in. We weren't in our room much, so it didn't really impact me. However, if I was to return again, I would definitely like a room facing the beautiful gardens. I missed not having the sun in our room.

Positive: My husband has some mobility issues and the staff were kind enough to bring out the food to our room.
Negative: Again, because of my husband's mobility issues, navigating the steps to and from our room was a bit of a challenge. He is tall and the hand-rails were far from adequate.

Positive: Peppers Manor House is a beautiful old building set in a beautiful garden setting close to Fitzroy Falls, Moss Vale and Bowral. The staff at reception were courteous and helpful. The restaurant, lounge area bar and games rooms are are centrally located. We had a family dinner in the Tattinger Room. The setting was just beautiful and dining and bar staff were just great. The main bedroom was a good size, the bed large and comfortable. There was a TV, bar fridge and coffee making facilities. We had a Garden Wing room which faced towards the Garden. Beautiful setting. You should note that 50% of Garden wing rooms do not have a garden view. The bathroom had a bath and shower. The water is very hot and care needs to be taken. The second room in our room had a dining table with four chairs. It also had a small lounge in that room. This room was a strange configuration and of not much use during the four nights. Breakfast was fine.
Negative: Unfortunately the first room we were allocated had obvious stains on the lounge and lounge floor. We sought and were given another room. This is a four star hotel with a substantial nightly room rate. The rooms need an overhaul and freshening up. The dining room needs sprucing up. On our night the fire alarm went off at 1 am. All guests were woken and it took a while for the alarm to be turned off. No staff gave any information about what had occurred and no apology, no acknowledgement of the effect on guests - no nothing, Zip, Zero!!
Summary: Lovely Premises requiring renewal. We enjoyed our stay.

Positive: Kate restaurant is super! All the food are amazing. And Mount Broughton Golf club is just right next to the hotel. Incredibly comfortable. Very pretty atmosphere. Beautiful garden.
Negative: Bathroom..: isn’t very comfortable but understandable because it’s very traditional
