Positive: Great staff who were very friendly and accommodated for all needs. Hotel was clean but old. But facilities inside operated well. The hotel was right next to the Taksim high street and 8 mins walk to Galata. Very close to tourist locations. Restaurants and shops were all nearby. The hotel was next to a club which was noisy but once within the room, the noise was quite minimal. Hotel came included with breakfast, which was absolutely fantastic. A short 2-3 min walk from the hotel and was within a local family run cafe. The breakfast was a traditional Turkish style and was excellent! Would definitely recommend in terms of location, staff and breakfast!

Negative: The hotel looked better in the photos. We chose the hotel because of the kitchen, but we couldn't use it. It wasn't clean. There wasn't even paper until we asked for it. Breakfast was included in the hotel's service and we had to go to another building to get it.

Positive: Very good location. Breakfast was solid. Staff is friendly. For that low price in the center, solid accommodation.

Negative: Big noise from the disco every night until 3am, hard to fall asleep before that. Old building and hygiene is not very good, there are cockroaches. The photos on the website do not correspond to reality.

Positive: The reviews of this hotel seem overstated, the reality we faced was: - very spacious room - great new foam mattress - great breakfast - amazing location

Negative: Yes the facilities are old, and yes there's a lot of noise, but not sure what you expect for this price in the most central district of Istanbul. Overall it's pretty good value.

Positive: Location is top notch. If you can adjust with other things and location is uour top priority then this is the place.

Negative: 1) cleanliness 2) no house keeping 3) WiFi is almost useless - the staff tried to help but unfortunately it’s a problem inside the rooms 4) loud music on the above floors all night
