Perched on the banks of Broughton Mill Creek and situated only 450 meters from the town centre is a romantic oasis for two.
The Berry weekender (or midweek stay) is situated where Alexander Berry established the first Berry village in the early 1800's. Your secluded modern accommodation faces north to the sun with a private verandah overlooking the creek.
This studio style bungalow is set in the green garden of one of Berry's most historic cottages - built as the residence of the first Berry Policeman, and is only about 5 minutes walk along Queen Street to the cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops in the Berry township, and around 10 minutes walk from the Berry Railway Station.
From your private verandah you might see the platypus, water dragons, wild duck, fish, skinks, possums and many varieties of bird that the creek and the tropical plants and features of the garden attract.

Jervis Bay with its famous beaches such as Greenpatch, Murrays Beach. Hyams Beach and other lovely swimming and picnic spots, such as the Currarong Rockpool are approx 40 mins drive away.

Summary: Sally was such a great host! The small touches she added really elevated the entire experience. The weekender was so relaxing with some beautiful views from the back deck and the garden was so peaceful. Highly recommend, will definitely stay here again next time i'm in Berry.
