Summary: Our family went the day after Thanksgiving to South Virginia from NCto buy our Christmas tree as we do every year. We’ve never stayed the night and the cabin was perfect! We loved the house and the view even more. I believe this will be part of our annual tradition.

Summary: This property was fantastic and in a great location. With five adults we were a little squeezed for sleeping accommodations (I slept on the couch) but will happily rent again if in the area. The kitchen was well furnished with dishes / cookware / appliances and plenty spacious even for a group our size. The back porch has a GREAT view of the fields and mountains to the north/west. Saw a deer right behind the property one day. Visited several great attractions nearby including Mabry Mill (unfortunately closed for the season but we walked the grounds), Buffalo Mountain and Rocky Knob hikes (both highly recommended for their views from the top) and two wineries (Chateau Morrisette scored high marks for both atmosphere and value). All in all had a wonderful stay.

Summary: We come to this same cabin every single year. My daughter, who is 7 years old, loves the little hideaway with the old phone. She said we can never stay at another cabin because it won't have the phone! haha! It is just a great peaceful getaway. We always eat at Jane's Country Cafe and visit the candy store. It's a great weekend trip!

Summary: We picked a weekend when hurricane Ian decided to blow through the place we were leaving and the place we were going. The owner was fantastic to work with and really helped us salvage a soggy weekend. The cabin was great and the view was beautiful. Highly recommend!!

Summary: The setting is beautiful with a stunning view that can be enjoyed from a covered deck. We were taken by the quality construction of the cabin and the tasteful decoration. Everything we needed was provided. Best of all were communications with the host. We'll be coming back.
