Positive: The accommodation is wide and looks really like a small flat. Private entrance is very good. Spacious room for parking in the driveway. Location is good if you have a car, close to the seaside but easy to get to Auckland city centre. Neighbourhood is quite and elegant. The host has been very responsive.

Negative: The kitchen is limited and definitely it lacks cutlery: the flat can accommodate four people but there are only two pieces of forks and knives there should be four (and spoons as well!). A toaster would be also great but not essential. Also some tools for cleaning the bathroom would be nice (a broom for example), even though the owner has been immediately responsive to any requests. The flat has direct access to the main house through some internal stairs and one of the family sleeps in the same floor. However the hosts have been extremely respectful of our privacy.

Summary: Highly recommended, if you have a car. Quiet and spacious, very nice hosts.

Positive: That we had our own entrance. The host was so lovely. She helped us when we needed. Especially when we ended up with an extra child last minute. Thank you for allowing us too share your home & doing a last minute booking.

Negative: -Has a member of the family sharing downstairs as well. -Possibly sound proof the flooring so if disputes happen again the guest won’t hear. -Unfortunately the shower drain blocks up -Rubbish and bottle caps under the beds Possibly have a washing basket in the bathroom for linen and towels. Also a recycling bin for recycling.

Summary: We are thankful to find a place last min in the area we needed to be in.

Negative: Waterpressure in shower not that strong and hot water may take awhile to heat. I think when used by other occupants. But no biggie.
