Summary: We stayed at this beautiful chalet for 4 nights Dec 3-7, 2022. We absolutely loved this place; the fireplace was so beautiful and we loved that it opened both on the kitchen side and living room. Very cozy. The place was nicely decorated for Christmas with a beautiful Christmas tree and cool googly-eyed moose dolls around. The owner also Christmas music playing for our arrival. So lovely! This place is full of rustic antiques and epic pictures. It has been decorated with great care and thoughtfulness. We loved the heating floors; the well decorated bedrooms with bath robes. The chalet is situated on a hill which gives a nice view of the Lac Beauport. Please note that the hill is quite steep and with snowy-rainy-freezing conditions thereafter, it gets very icy and it is very slippery - even with plenty of salt and sand. The owner recommends a 4-wheel drive during winter and I would say it is a must. Please do not take this lightly. I cannot wait to stay at this beautiful chalet again. It was a real winter dream.

Summary: The spectacular accommodations and location made for a memorable visit to enjoy all of the attractions of Quebec City and the surrounding area. The architecture, decor, and amenities were exceptional. After our daily sojourns, we particularly enjoyed the ambience of the accommodation, including the unique fireplace, dining on the porches, and watching the stunning sunsets over Lac Beauport.

Summary: We enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere of this home each evening after exploring Old Quebec City. The upscale neighborhood was a delight and travel was easy. The house was fully stocked with everything you would need and much more than any other place we have stayed. Our gracious host Alain was very helpful with tips and ideas for our visit and made sure we had settled in comfortably. We would highly recommend this home.

Summary: Sunset views overlooking a beautiful lake with fall colored trees! Easy 20 minute drive to Quebec City or the national park just north of the home. Amazing location to stay. The home makes you feel comfortable right away. Great cozy beds and plenty of space. Along with Alain being a great host. It’s a winner!

Summary: We had a fantastic time at Alains home, the pictures do not make it justice! The location is beautiful and has a gorgeous view of the lake. The house is a perfect home away from home, it's cozy, decorated with taste, and has all the ammenities. We love to cook, and the kitchen is fully stocked! An easy drive to the city center, about 20 minutes, with restaurantas a grocery store just 2 miles away. We will definitely return!

Summary: This house is in a really gorgeous, upscale community. Not what we were expecting at all from the listing - we thought it was going to be more of a rustic cabin in the woods. So we were thrilled with how nice the neighborhood was. The interior of the house is beautiful, and it has perhaps the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen in a rental. The deck overlooking the lake had a great sunset view and was a perfect place to unwind.

Summary: What a lovely stay! Alain was a charming host and could not have made us feel more welcome. When we arrived there was a cozy fire laid in the fireplace and pleasant music playing on the whole-house Bose music system. Each room had luxurious robes, comfy bed linens and a wealth of high quality towels and bath supplies. There was even a large cozy dog bed provided for our pups’. The kitchen was also very well equipped, with all new appliances. I was even delighted to find that space was left on pantry shelves for us to put away our own cooking supplies! So many hosts forget that small detail. The views were spectacular!! And we loved sitting by the fire pit on the balcony, overlooking the lake. The nights were quiet and cool, so we enjoyed sleeping with windows open to enjoy the fresh air. We also thought the water tasted wonderful there and appreciated that it came out of the tap ice cold, but also got very hot upon demand. Plenty of hot water with good pressure for showering. Alain has put a lot of thought into the wonderful, eclectic decor and that made the home so much fun to explore. All in all, we felt as if we had stepped into a luxury spa!! We certainly recommend this lovely home to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway.

Summary: We got away with a few friends and this was exactly what we needed the fireplace was perfect, and the location was really close to quebec -30 min drive . Will be going back for sure!

Summary: My new husband and I stayed at this property for our honeymoon. It was everything that was described and more! Plenty of space and cozy and romantic. We enjoyed sitting by all of the different fireplaces and soaking in the hot tub. The only tiny issue was that one of the pipes was frozen so we couldn’t use the master bathtub for the first few days - but Alain explained the situation and when the temperature went up we were able to enjoy it. Its the perfect distance from the city with lots of things to do really close by. Would definitely stay here again!
