Make memories on Big Silver Lake this year.
Very quiet during the week. Three bedroom two bath updated house that can comfortably sleep 9 with largest bedroom a kids bunk room that sleeps 5 and additional pull outs in living room to sleep 3-6 more. Updated, reconfigured kitchen with new appliances and new flooring throughout are recent additions. The South Silver Lake Rd house is on a quiet and highest section of the lake. Fantastic views of the lake along with amenities to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Big Silver is a crystal clear 350 acre spring fed lake that has abundant northern, large mouth bass and panfish. Pier easily accommodates two fishing boats or pontoon boats with a landing close by. Comes with all bedding, towels, two sea kayaks, two standup paddle boards, life vests and a swim to raft off the pier. High speed unlimited WiFi along with a smart TV included, bring your cable subscription. The garage has an extra refrigerator and deck has a large gas grill and a large Weber grill. Pontoon boat available for rent. We have also recently installed a PWC lift that is available.

Summary: Enjoyed my short fall get away at the family retreat on Silver Lake. The home was comfortable and welcoming. Beautiful view of lake. Great deck to further enjoy the view. Close to several great restaurants in the area. Even though it was windy and a couple of light showers on a couple of days, found it very relaxing to just sit, read and watch beautiful scenery of the lake and surrounding trees.

Summary: My wife and I shared the cottage with children and their young kids. The most memorable quality was the tranquil sense we experienced on this lake. I expected much more boat traffic and was surprised by the minimal activity which provided entertainment, be it jet ski, tubers, water skiers or families just touring the lake in a pontoon boat, all viewed from the deck right off the living/dining area. The family enjoyed the dock for fishing and swimming to the raft in very clear water. I have never experienced a property so well equipped, be it towels, kitchen items, games, access to laundry. We would book again down the road.

Summary: The house was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. We had a lovely time hanging around, and on the boat. The fish were biting and the lake was not too busy to pull the kids on the tube. Frank, the host, was quick to reply with any questions we had during our stay. Will definitely consider another visit!

Summary: The lake was amazing - clean and able to fully recreate! The lake was busy on the weekend, but slowed down during the week. Great view from the deck - a lot of steps to get down to the water front which was not an issue for us. The home had everything we needed! We all had a wonderful time! Thank you, Frank, for letting us enjoy your place.

Summary: Our family stayed here for our summer reunion 2022 and loved it. We returned for 2023 and it felt like returning to our home away from home. There were eight of us, and the house met our needs again beautifully. Frank is friendly and responsive, making sure our arrival and home access went smoothly. Instructions for access to the house, boat and garage are clear and easy to follow. The kitchen is really well-stocked for cooking and serving bigger groups. From the deck overlooking the lake, the view is stunning. We spent the majority of our time on the deck enjoying the scenic view, or down on the dock swimming and paddle boarding. We rented the pontoon boat available with the house, and it adds an awesome outdoor sitting area when parked on the dock. Of course, the pontoon boat also allowed us access to all of beautiful Silver Lake and we enjoyed being out on the water every day. Highly recommend to other groups.

Summary: Great place and location. Fantastic view of the lake. The deck was great and the dock was perfect. The house was well stocked with essentials. Our only concern is the floors had some level/bump issues for people with balance issues.

Summary: My family enjoyed our stay immensely. The house is nicely updated and has great Lake access and a wonderful water view right off the deck of the house. Great hosts greeted us on arrival. You will have all the comforts of home as the kitchen is super well equipped and in great working order and plenty of seating for family meals, games and relaxing. We rented the pontoon for a special treat. We’ll be back!
