Summary: Being so close (less than a block) from Lake Shawnee was amazing. Great way to get in relaxing walks with our pup throughout the day. Easy access to the interstate. Older but super comfortable house with awesome shower water pressure. The lights on the screened in porch were a great touch. Will definitely book here again.

Summary: Perfect little house for our trip to watch softball. Short walk to the Lake Shawnee Softball Fields. Trails around the lake were great for morning walks. Convenient location with restaurants and shopping nearby. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Owner was readily available. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: This little house by Lake Shawnee was a great launching off point for seeing family in the area, touring museums, and most of all resting from the Holidays. Walking the dog along the lake really helped me decompress from the Holidays and recenter and reset for the new year. The inside of the house was exceptionally clean. Backyard could benefit from a leaf raking. That said, I highly recommend this place.

Summary: Worked for us. Could use a long dresser in the MB to put your small stuff and personal bath items as there is not a vanity in the bathroom. Laundry area needs a good cleaning, dryer lint and spilled laundry soap that hasn’t been cleaned up. Didn’t cook but appeared to have most everything one might need to cook a basic meal.

Summary: It was nice,it rained most of our stay, so we couldn’t take advantage of the lake and screened in porch. Outside number on the house would be nice. We stopped at the neighbors first.
