Welcome to The Mermaid Sunrise! Come enjoy all Sargent has to offer! Located on the ICW, right across from the beach, this 3 bedroom 2 bath spacious home has it all for you and your guest! Beautiful views of the ICW, Gulf of Mexico and the San Bernard Wildlife Refuge. Enjoy beach combing , kayaking, birding, surf fishing or just relaxing on the beautiful Sargent shoreline! Bringing your boat? The ramp is conveniently located about a mile down from the house!
One of the few Sargent homes with a pool, you can swim in the pool while listening to the ocean waves!
Inside you will be greeted by a bright and spacious open concept living/dining with a fully stocked kitchen! This house has a Pelican Water whole house water filtration system (sediment-charcoal-bone mar) that removes Arsenic, chlorine and particulate. The water and ice are very safe to consume.
Bedroom 1 - King size bed, large walk in shower with separate toilet room
Bedroom 2 - Full size bed with twin trundle
Bedroom 3 - Queen size bed
This home can also be rented with The Surfhouse located next door. This will give you the ability to accommodate 15 guest!

Summary: This property was in a great location across from the beach and in the back was a canal for fishing! You are close to the bait shop as well with Dollar stores just down the road. Added bonuses for this house were the pool, ice machine and fully stocked kitchen....I tend to pack my whole kitchen but this place had everything you needed. Also pet friendly but a very clean pet friendly home. Plenty of room and everything was in tip top shape. Will definitely recommend and hopefully be booking again soon! Summary: Thank you very much for sharing your property with us! We had a blast! Definitely well equipped, especially the kitchen! Very clean and the location is perfect! Right across from the beach, bait shop and just down the road from the dollar stores! The pool and ice machine were added bonuses as well! Nice that it was pet friendly but a very clean pet friendly home! We will definitely recommend and hopefully be coming back here in years to come!

Summary: Place was even better than pictures. We caught fish off inter coastal waters at night and played at the beach all day. House was perfect and had everything we needed

Summary: This house is one of my favorite to stay in at Sargent so far. It's in a perfect place to walk to the beach, fish in the inercoastal and it has a pool!! The house is clean, and set up perfectly so everyone in the house has privacy. There is not a washer and dryer but they have plenty of towels so you don't have to find a place to wash them while staying there. I believe there is a laundry mat on the island if you do need one though. Last, the host is super nice and responsive to any of your needs. Love it!

Summary: We just left this fabulous house. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. House is steps away from the beach. It’s not a huge beach but this is the Texas Gulf Coast, it’s not known for its huge beaches. We spent the evenings relaxing in the pool. We would stay here again hands down and can’t wait to come back.

Summary: We usually go to crystal beach, we decided to try this place out to get away from the crowds.. and that we did, however there’s not near as much beach (for the majority of the time there was only about 10 feet of beach) the inner coastal was covered in shell reefs so fishing on the bottom was almost impossible. The waves on the beach was too bad too surf fish (as is most beaches this time of year)

Summary: What’s a great property! We had a great time with the pool and fishing! The house had everything and more. The ice machine is a life saver. The house was very clean and very nice. Plenty of room! All you have to do is bring plenty to eat as the stores are about a 30 mins drive but that’s what makes the little town great! It’s away from everything! We loved it and will be back again soon!

Summary: EVERYTHING WAS VERY NICE BUT EXPECTED TO HAVE ACCESS TO WASHER AND DRYER WHICH IS NORMALLY STANDARD....WITH NO WASHER AND DRYER THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE TOWELS AVAILABLE. THERE WAS NO HAND SOAP, NO DISH OR DISHWASHER SOAP AND LIMITED PAPER TOWELS AND TP AND BATH SOAP. REGARDLESS IT WAS VERY NICE AND WOULD STAY AGAIN.
