The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators). Rooms may face the river, mountainside, parking lot or a neighboring building.
This room provides you with a two-burner cooktop, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker, and the pans and dishes you need to complete any meal. The queen bed and twin bed are all in the same room. The bathroom has a large exterior vanity area and a step-in shower.
Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn.
The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.
Please be aware that your room number may differ than the one on your reservation confirmation. The Mountainside Inn reserves the right to move reservations to a comparable room without notifying the guest.

Summary: This is a great affordable ski in and out property! The room space is small for 3 adults but its still a great place for skiing. I would definitely stay there again for the value!

Summary: The unit was very clean and the location was excellent for our skiing needs. However, I learned a very important lesson about VRBO listings. The square footage was listed at the very end of the description> It was 273 Sq feet. It was a little smaller than my dorm rooms from college. Also there was no hot water for the first 2 1/2 days. It was fixed as soon as they were able but it was an uncomfortable issue. A lot of other reviews said it was basic but a good value. I could not call it a value at that price that we paid.

Summary: Lisa at the front desk was so nice and helpful. The only hotel who has ever called me a day in advanced to welcome the upcoming stay! How awesome is that! Loved the stove top and sink in the room, I wish every hotel had that! We walked to the Main Street and felt safe. Wish we could have stayed for more than a day! Would stay here again!!
