Summary: Our family of 9 enjoyed our week at this beautiful home. We spent a lot of time fishing off the dock and enjoying the scenery from the deck. The fishing was awesome and Emmy was a great host. Our dogs loved it too.

Summary: Our family of 8 adults vacationed for a week at this beautiful home. Hosts Maryellen and Mel were wonderful and met to give us a quick tour when we arrive. They provided a welcome basket for us and provided lots of recommendations for things to do and places to visit in the area. The home is beautifully appointed and easily accommodated 4 sets of adult couples in the upstairs area and had a huge finished basement which could have easily accommodated another couple. The outside of the home is also very well appointed with items for kayaking, canoeing , crabbing and fishing. There are plenty of different areas on the property to get some quite time or relax with a cup of coffee or a book. Kitchen is very well stocked and there were 3 full size refrigerators available to use. The area is very rural and peaceful overall. All locals we met were very hospitable. We bought live crabs locally at Fleeton Point Seafood, and added a few that had been caught off on the pier, and then steamed / ate them on the large picnic table on the lower deck. We fished off the pier as well. Visited V3 Winery one day and had a great time trying tastings and drinking a couple bottles of their wines. Overall rate this vacation as a 10! Don't hesitate to visit.

Summary: Our family loved our week stay in this beautiful spacious home. Amazing river views from all the decks. MaryEllen has provided everything you might need. She responded immediately to any questions we had. Loved the golf cart, kayaks , canoes, raft and pool.Our grandson caught enough crabs to have for dinner 4 nights in a row!

Summary: This house was spacious and well appointed. Beds, linens and furniture were all comfortable. There were beautiful views of the river and ample amenities to enjoy it. There are many cozy places to relax and enjoy it all. We will be returning.

Summary: This place was great. I told the owner the pictures do not do it justice. Many improvements have been done. you don’t have to bring anything, the host had everything you need. I have never been in such a peaceful place. Views outstanding. Caught some fish from the dock and had our crab feast. So delicious. Quiet town come here for a nice restful vacation. Great seafood around. Went fishing on charter on Rapahonock River. Loved the availability to the golf cart !!!!

Summary: The owner was responsive friendly non invasive person ever. When she says pet friendly she is not kidding anything and everything you need for your pet is there. This property is right on the water complete with kayaks and canoes enough for our family of 9. There are crab traps on the property and although we only caught 15 I am sure if we knew what we were doing we could have gotten more. I highly recommend this rental.

Summary: The house is wonderful. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you need to enjoy the house and the water. The kids had a great time catching crabs from the dock and from a small boat that we used. The house has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms on the 2nd level (Main floor). There is also in in laws suite in the lower level that we did not have access to. This suite has its own entrance but does share pathways through communal decks. This was not an issue for us as the person renting the suite during our visit was also very nice. Overall we had a great time.

Summary: We stayed here with family for a reunion weekend in honor of our mom. Maryellen was very flexible with check-in and check-out times. The house is big with plenty of places to relax and for people to spend time together and alone. Our kids loved swimming and hanging out on the dock, and our dog had a ball. The setting couldn't be prettier and brought back so many good memories of the house my family had on the Northern Neck when I was growing up. It was a great weekend getaway!

Summary: The whole family loved our week long stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the crabbing off the dock, easy boating, the hot tub and the amazing water view from the multiple decks! Our adult children loved visiting the nearby antique shops and thrift stores.
