The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators).
This hotel room has a king bed that can be split into two twins if desired. The room has a flat-screen TV with satellite, mini-fridge, small microwave, fan and humidifier. The private bathroom has a shower (no tub) and a hairdryer.
Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn.
The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.
Please be aware that your room number may differ than the one on your reservation confirmation. The Mountainside Inn reserves the right to move reservations to a comparable room without notifying the guest.

Summary: The location was perfect--we were able to walk to everything in town, including several trails. The room itself is pretty basic, but we didn't need any frills, and the price--especially for Telluride--was just right. Really appreciate that they allow dogs, though it was a bummer the hot tub was closed.

Summary: The room was as described, and while it’s an older building, the room had everything we needed and the location was perfect. We loved being right on the creek with quick, easy access to the path to walk with our dogs. There were kids in the room above us that made some noise, but never too early in the morning or late at night, so it was fine. Great to have an affordable and pet friendly option in Telluride.

Summary: Clean, spartan room perfect for adventurers that will not be spending the day in it. Microwave and fridge, no kitchen utensils. My only challenge was a bright light from eaves over room which is on all night, there is a very effective black out shade, but this also blocks the lovely breeze on hot days.
