Positive: Easy code access. Didn’t have to bother anyone to check in. Our contact Desiree was an absolute pleasure. She did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Without her I don’t think the rating on this property would be as high. The house was extremely clean. The host provides you everything you need for your stay. Clean towels were provided upon request. The house is also located a short distance from downtown Savannah, which is very convenient. Large outdoor area for pets and a very nice deck.
Negative: No working fireplace. And this is advertised in the listing: Pet-Friendly Savannah Home with Cozy Fireplace! The house has a very nice large deck however when we first arrived, there was no patio furniture. Our contact Desiree, was excellent and provided us with four plastic Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. This was a very nice gesture and allowed us to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the nice weather. The living room has a sectional but other than that, there is no room to sit if you are with a large group of people as we were. We were seven people in total (two families) and if we wanted to spend time in the living room, we had to bring over the dining room chairs. The master shower is a disaster, the “glass only” design without any doors, gets the entire bathroom floor wet. This house does not have a washer and dryer.
Summary: Nice, clean place to stay close to Savannah.
