Summary: The place was a little off the beaten path, but just fine for my wife and I to get away. Taos is beautiful. This place is right next to a local artists studio and he welcomed us in and gave us a private tour. Easy access to the mountains and skiing and anything else you want to do in the area.

Summary: The inside of the property is pretty good. It does have a busted up blind on the front door , burnt out lightbulbs in the bedroom, and the ceiling light has something in it. The real problem is outside. This property is not being maintained. We arrived at night. The outdoor lights are not working weeds everywhere like 2 to 3 feet tall My wife tripped and fell when the weeds got tangled into her feet. The abandon property next-door has the same problem which tells me this property hasn’t been maintained and inspected someone else mentioned the fire pit which you can hardly see because the grass and weeds are 3 foot tall covering it up. A plastic bag being used as a door pull for the gate Really!! I could go on much longer, but bottom line is the property. Either isn’t being inspected or Evolve standards are incredibly low. Their used to be a gravel path from the gate to the house but is now covered in weeds. We will never stay at another Evolve property again !!!

Summary: This property has great bones. The Bath is gorgeous, with a nice touch a dual shower head. Kitchen is nice, a perfect size for a couple, and perhaps small child. The washer and dryer are new, and heated bath floor. The cedar ceiling is perfect setting off the Taos feel. Furnishings are tired, but, fit in well with the theme. The breakdown occurs in the bedroom furnishings, the yard exterior and electrical. There is a known electrical issue; the unit is part of a triplex, but does not have a sub panel in the unit. This means if the microwave and coffee are on at the same time, you blow a circuit breaker. Not the end of the world, but, the breaker is in the next unit. The coffee pot left for us had a note that it didn't work. Obviously a previous guest left the note, however housekeeper didn't see it? Or clean the coffee pot? The yard was a mess with weeds thigh high, and that was the walking entrance to get to the unit. And this wasn't due to wet winter, the trees and bushes were so overgrown into the house this occurred over a period of time. The mattress on the bed is so old, partners sag to the middle. The bed frame is so creaky, it wakes you up at night just if you move. And the bedspread had black spots all over it. With TLC, this property can be stunning, but it wasn't when we stayed, and, it was over $300 per night net. If you decide to rent the unit, make sure the owner has cleaned the yard up, replaced the bed and disgusting bedspread, and fixed the electrical.

Summary: Place was secluded at the back so very much privacy. Beautiful inside decor. Small. Quaint. Cozy. Comfortable. Bathroom and shower are amazing. Absolutely fabulous place for a couple to enjoy taos and surrounding area. Highly recommend the anaconda bar and grill. It's barely a mile from the property and great food and drink. Will be making an annual excursion and will use this lovely home again. Ty ty ty.

Summary: This property was delightful in many ways. It has a lot of charm & has been renovated with much thought. Loved the stone floors, beautiful twin sink bathroom, nicely done kitchen & all the special little touches. A heavy rainstorm came and the property sprung 4 leaks - 2 from windows & 2 from the bedroom ceiling. I called the property owner & his contractor came over immediately. Once the rain stopped, the leaks stopped. Obviously the leaks need to be repaired before anyone else rents it. This is a small detail in comparison but the linens are shabby. Towels with stains & frayed edges and there was a hole in our fitted sheet. Still, would stay there again.

Summary: I have to say that turning down what seemed to be an alley to the home was a little sketchy, but consistent with much of what you see in Taos (not meant in a negative way). Once we went inside the home, we found a very nice, recently updated clean home. New appliances, new kitchen and bathroom remodel with heated floor and nice shower. It has a nice enclosed backyard for our dog that was a plus. Owner was nearby and very nice and helpful.
