Positive: A breathtakingly beautiful location. Cosy house, well equipped. The beds were comfy with good quality bedding. The carpet upstairs looked new and was lovely underfoot. Bonny views upstairs looking across to Rum. The beach is within walking distance and the disused church is in a lovely spot. Short drive to Armadale for supplies if needed and not long to Broadford either which leads to everywhere else on Skye. We are well used to single track roads at home so this didn't bother us at all and adds to the charm of the location.
Negative: The oven.

Positive: Cottage is clean, well equipped with everything you need for your stay. A bit out in the sticks, but you het used to the roads. Not many 2 lane roads. Many are single track with plenty passing places.
Negative: Single bed i slept in wasn't very comfortable and may need mattress replaced. Couple of things needed in kitchen. Tin opener, better strainer and a cheese grater. But all in all. A fantastic property with breathtaking views.

Positive: . Absolutely beautiful location in a unique Crofting village with a depth of historical information available which is well worth studying to get the best of your stay. Peterโ€™s cottage is warm and comfortable in a traditional style, which we liked a lot. The weather was, shall we say, dramatic, with everything from sun to gales and pelting rain. Still worth braving the elements to marvel at the Atlantic breakers thrashing the rocky shore. Wonderful views.
Negative: The narrow twisty single track hill roads with passing places to Tarskavaig and Ord are not for the faint-hearted or inexperienced driver. Blind summits and corners abound as well as steep hills. The scenery is gorgeous but best keep attention on the driving and watch out for sheep and cows on the road. Local residents get used to it.
Summary: Loved everything and want to return.
